• The Trelawneys are a married couple who hire Francis for translating their arguments - Trevor speaks English, but Trudy seemingly only speaks German - but at the end of their scene, it is revealed that Trudy can speak English and agrees to stop fighting with her husband. But if she wanted to feel appreciated by Trevor and could speak perfect English, then why would she purposely speak in a language he can't understand and so stop him from working out their issues?
