Fridge Brilliance
- The tendency for prefects to be Bunny Ears Lawyers and/or social minorities is fully justified by the setting: the only way their quirks will be allowed at all is if they're at the top of the heap, so they're motivated to work harder and better than anyone else to get that opportunity. We see this happening with Inuzuka and Persia in the present day.
- It also explains why not many people try to stop the war: promotion through military skill is one of the few avenues of social mobility that the Westians (and Towans, to a lesser degree) have.
