• The Avengers of Earth-717 treat it as natural and healthy that they chose to let those killed by the Snap stay dead so that the world could move on and continue to progress. However, for all their protests that they made the ‘right’ call, consider what heroes were left on this world. With Tony Stark dead and Steve Rogers having suffered a breakdown even before Thanos came, the surviving Avengers would have lost their obvious leaders some time before the Snap, and after that the most experienced heroes available were Bruce, Wanda and Peter (Sif hasn’t been to Earth that often and isn’t a leader on her own), each of whom would have been seriously traumatised by what happened and in no clear state to lead anyone. With only a group of secondary heroes to pick up the slack, it’s not hard to see how Karli, AKA Flag-Smasher, would have had the strength of personality to convince them to go along with her idea to make the world fit her views, as opposed to canon where the original six Avengers were able to help maintain order post-Snap and thus Karli only rose to prominence riding on the frustration of those hindered by the post-Blip reconstruction effort.
