Twilight doesn't appear in the story and there's no mention of her already having become an alicorn. But if she's not already, she's eventually going to be one. Will she have to harvest babytail fruits every generation to sustain her magic, too? And is Princess Cadence already doing the same thing?
If a foal eats the wrong type and/or amount of food while their tail is falling out, the babytail fruit inside them gets mutated and becomes painful and difficult to remove, and the extraction is very bloody. Has any foal ever died from that happening?
A foal's parent or other guardian is responsible for getting them the vegetables and fish they need to eat when their tail is shedding. What if a foal has abusive and/or neglectful parents who can't be bothered to get them the proper food?
