This is Cassandra Alexander, 15th of June. I've just returned from an excavation in Der El Bahari, of the recently discovered tomb of Egyptian Queen Ahotep the 1st, also known as "Great Royal Wife", and the associate of the white crown bearer.

Amongst the mummified remains of her highness we discovered what appears to be some of her jewelry, and ornamental weaponry, which seems to originate from Dra Abu Alnaga, near The Valley Of The Kings. Many of these artifacts are believed to have been gifted to Ahotep by her second son Amose, who led his army to Nubia to expel the Hixos, and regain lost territories.

While he was away, a faction of Hixos tried to steal the throne by which Ahotep resisted. She was later awarded by her son the golden flies of valour, and given much of the riches we unearthed during this trip. The majority of these recently found artifacts are now in possession of The Museum Of Natural History. Within these finds, a large necklace was found. Its size uncommon, its beauty unmatched. When I saw it, I couldn't let it be seized with everything else. Something made me keep it separate, it spoke to me.

(Cassandra)

So I shall study it, and restore it. And maybe in doing so, I will be able to close the book on much of the lost history of this most fascinating figure of the 17th dynasty.
Opening Narration

Ouija Mummy is a Horror Movie by Sebastian Godin.

Chase Logan (Kii Hornick) and Natalie Logan (Briana Wyman) are a married couple who've recently moved into a new house. While there, Chase finds a necklace in a box left over from the house's previous owner, and decides to give it to Natalie as a gift.

The two decide to throw a housewarming party and invite friends and family, which includes Chase's recovering alcoholic brother Paul (Sebastian Godin), who feels guilty over getting his and Chase's parents killed in a drunk driving accident (no, he wasn't the drunk driver). However, strange things soon start happening.

The movie was released on August 25th, 2019.

Ouija Mummy contains examples of:

  • An Arm and a Leg: When Karate Irving tries using his moves on Ahotep the 1st, she twists his leg off and then beats him to death with it.
  • Artifact of Doom: The necklace Chase finds belonged to Ahotep the 1st, who uses it to possess Natalie after the ouija board is used.
  • Attack on the Heart: Chase's fate after freeing himself from Ahotep's control.
  • Blood from the Mouth: Happens with Kyle when he gets the board lodged in his throat.
  • Flowers of Romance: Chase buys a bouquet of roses to give to Natalie along with the necklace.
  • Grievous Harm with a Body: Ahotep beats Karate Irving to death with the leg she twisted off him.
  • Humans Are Flawed: When Chase tries to apologize for how he acted the previous night, saying it was stupid, Natalie retorts by saying that humans are stupid, and that it's important to recognize it and try not to do it in the future.
  • "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight: When being grappled by Chase, Paul reaches out to him to get him to overpower the influence controlling him. It works.
  • Ouija Board: Natalie has an Ancient Egypt-themed one, which she inherited from her deceased aunt. Chase doesn't like her playing around with it.
  • Scary Teeth: Chase's teeth turn sharp after Ahotep takes full control of Natalie and turns him into her servant.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: When Ahotep the 1st takes control of Natalie and turns Chase into her servant, Becca and Blade run out of the room and hide in another one.
  • Sunglasses at Night: A literal example with Paul's AA support guy. When he's driving Paul to Chase and Natalie's house, he's wearing sunglasses while behind the wheel, and it's night outside the car.
  • White Hair, Black Heart: Natalie's hair turns white when Ahotep the 1st takes over. And Ahotep's a very villainous woman who kills the bulk of the people in the house.
  • Voice Changeling: By placing her hand on the back of Chase's head, Ahotep is able to mimic his voice perfectly.
