Archie's Final Project, also known as My Suicide, is about a teenager with a film obsession, and likely severe mental illness. He declares, for his school film class, he is going to kill himself. It is full of strange edits, random-ish animated bits, and unique editing.
This film contains examples of:
- The Reveal: There are three big ones.
- Sierra is suicidal because her brother killed himself and her parents refuse to acknowledge it.
- Corey left his suicide note on Archie's camera.
- Stalker with a Crush: Archie is this to Sierra at first. Sierra calls him on it, and they get a Relationship Upgrade.
- There Are No Therapists: Averted. After Archie's announcement he is taken to get a psych evaluation, and meets with two official therapists, and one who has felt the need to play therapist to suicidal people.
- What the Hell, Hero?: This movie is happy to call Archie out on every possible occasion. Sierra does when Archie tries to save her, Sierra's parents do when they see him standing over her unconscious body and nearly everyone does it after Corey's suicide.
