Deliver Us From Evil by SnowPrincess88
  • Recommended by FranksGirl
  • Pairings: Frank Hardy/Nancy Drew, Joe/OC
  • Synopsis: Pre-season 3; Frank and Joe are on assignment in Switzerland to protect a U.S. Senator's daughter against a mysterious stalker. Along the way, they become entangled in a second mystery involving missing artifacts from a nearby monastery. The danger ratchets up, and an unexpected twist in their first case leaves Frank and Joe wondering if they'll actually make it home alive.
  • Comments: Another good one from Snow Princess 88! This one rings a great twist on a character from the third season episode "Scorpion's Sting", and includes many sly insider-jokes on Shaun Cassidy's career. Mild warnings for themes of potential ritual rape, but nothing explicit.

  • Synopsis: Pre-season 3; Frank and Joe agree to help Fenton search for a missing, pregnant teen, and soon find themselves involved in a full-scale baby selling ring...with a perpetrator who will do anything to avoid being discovered. Even murder.
  • Comments: Another fun tale from an author that has the feel & style of the show down cold, right down to the wonderful relationship between Frank & Nancy. Mind the warnings, though: this one has themes of potential rape and molestation.

  • Recommended by FranksGirl
  • Pairings: none
  • Synopsis: In the Hardy Boys episode Sole Survivor, what would have happened if Joe had found the perfume spill before Abrams entered the room?
  • Comments: A fix fic that plays the villains smart, taking on the second season episode Sole Survivor, and goes on to handle the aftermath realistically and believably. Mind the warnings for graphic violence to one of the main characters.

Voodoo Doll by Zenfrodo
  • Recommended by FranksGirl
  • Pairings: None
  • Synopsis: Based on the episode of the same name. A serial killer hunts the Mardi Gras - an occult sociopath torturing & slaughtering innocents to raise demonic power. Joining forces with the shadowy Association, the Hardy Boys pit themselves against the world of voodoo, evil magic, & psychic warfare to stop him - only to discover that the killer has lured them into his own deadly trap.
  • Comments: This story series takes the '70s show and runs with its take on supernatural stuff being real. Warnings for some graphic violence (offscreen) to one of the major characters. This one does head into non-canon territory with the strong emphasis on supernatural horror, but the sense of humor through it keeps it from going completely overboard.
