'''Synopsis:''' Twenty years after the first slide, Quinn, Wade, Rembrandt and Arturo must step back into the vortex and begin their adventures once again.

'''Comments:''' This six part series of PDF screenplays is a fan-created twentieth anniversary story for ''Sliders.'' Set from 2015 - 2016, the story catches up with Quinn, Wade, Rembrandt and Arturo two decades after the Pilot episode and 15 years after the unresolved cliffhanger of "The Seer." Much has changed between 2000 and 2015: the Sliders are alive and well and have been home for 14 years on an Earth untouched by Kromaggs.

The reasons behind their revival and homecoming are a mystery within the story. Wade, Rembrandt and Arturo have rebuilt their lives and retired from travelling the interdimension. Quinn Mallory is missing. But when reality starts to break down, threatening the entire multiverse, Quinn must reunite with his friends and begin a new journey through the multiverse.

The series is online at [[http://www.earthprime.com/reborn EarthPrime.com]]. A final screenplay for this series was posted on December 27, 2016.

'''Synopsis:''' Quinn Mallory wakes up to find himself home -- in fact, it's like he never left and time has been rewound to the Pilot. It's 1995: Wade is working at Doppler Computers, Professor Arturo is teaching, Rembrandt is a musician and only Quinn remembers sliding. Haunted by five years of traumatic memories, Quinn begins to wonder if he's losing his mind or if something else has gone terribly wrong...

'''Comments:''' ''Sliders'' is a show that lost 75% of the cast, most of them suffering horrible deaths. It is a depressing series in the end, and "Slide Effects" seeks to turn that around. This fanfic is Tormé's idea expanded into a 46 page script.

'''Comments:''' This series currently consists of a 4-page script followed by two more scripts (95 pages and 152 pages) and then a short novella. One more script is scheduled for 2016. This series, by the author of "Slide Effects," is another effort at restarting the series after "The Seer." However, it's done in the sense of a 2015 movie series with all the characters at the actors' current ages (Quinn and Wade now in their 40s, Rembrandt in his 60s, Arturo in his 70s). The 4-page prologue to the series begins with Rembrandt coming out of the vortex after "The Seer" and instantly reunited with Quinn, Wade and Arturo. He protests that this can't be happening as his three friends are dead. The Professor replies that they are all Sliders and Rembrandt should know by now that nothing is impossible. The prologue ends without any further explanation.

The subsequent script, "Reunion," is set in 2015. Wade, Rembrandt and Arturo have been living normal lives for 14 years back home. The Kromagg invasion has somehow been erased. Quinn Mallory is missing. But when Wade encounters reality distortions focused around a teenaged girl, Quinn returns and the Sliders reunite to investigate. Their search for answers sends them back into the vortex to explore the interdimension once again.

After that is "Revelation," in which the Sliders visit three parallel Earths and uncover the truth behind the multiverse and the terrible secret Quinn has been hiding since he got his friends back home. Most is explained, although it is only with the interlude novella, "Reminiscence," that full explanations are finally provided for how Arturo and Wade were resurrected, how Quinn was restored, how the Kromaggs were defeated and how the invasion was undone and why no one on Earth remembers it.

A final screenplay for this series has been announced for 2016.

This fanfic is Tormé's idea expanded into a 46 page script. The story pulls off the neat trick of undoing the latter years while still leaving emotional fallout.

'''Comments:'''This screenplay, by the author of "Slide Effects," seems to be another effort at restarting Sliders after "The Seer." However, it's done in the sense of a 2015 in-continuity movie revival. A 4-page prequel and one 95-page script have been released with apparently two more scripts and a novella to come. The 4-page prequel takes place right after "The Seer" and shows Rembrandt coming out of the vortex and inexplicably reunited with Quinn, Wade, and Arturo. The prequel script ends before any explanation is given for how Quinn, Wade and Arturo have somehow returned from being lost, dead and dead. The first installment, "Reunion," is a 95-page script set in 2015 and continues to withhold any explanation. "Reunion" shows that Wade, Rembrandt and Arturo have been home since 2001 and resumed normal lives. However, something seems to be going wrong with reality and Quinn reappears after a 14-year absence, reuniting with his friends and declaring that their only hope of saving reality is to step back into the vortex once again.

"Reunion" has a very strange approach to continuity, both referring to Seasons 3 - 5 and yet contradicting them. Wade's death is referred to despite Wade being alive; the Kromagg invasion is mentioned despite home clearly being untouched by Kromaggs; despite the prominence of sliding in the later seasons, Arturo states that only four sliders (the originals) are left as though he knows it for a fact. The script seems to delight in declaring that many unrevealed events between 2000 - 2001 brought about this back-to-basics situation. We'll have to see how Parts 2 - 3 turn out.

He protests that this can't be happening as his three friendsdead. The prequel script Professor replies that they are all Sliders and Rembrandt should know by now that nothing is impossible. The prologue ends before without any explanation is given for how Quinn, Wade and Arturo have somehow returned from being lost, dead and dead. further explanation.

The first installment, subsequent script, "Reunion," is a 95-page script set in 2015 and continues to withhold any explanation. "Reunion" shows that 2015. Wade, Rembrandt and Arturo have been home since 2001 and resumed living normal lives. However, something seems to be going wrong with lives for 14 years back home. The Kromagg invasion has somehow been erased. Quinn Mallory is missing. But when Wade encounters reality and distortions focused around a teenaged girl, Quinn reappears after a 14-year absence, reuniting with his friends returns and declaring that their only hope of saving reality is the Sliders reunite to step investigate.

Their search for answers sends them
back into the vortex to explore the interdimension once again.

"Reunion"
again. After that is "Revelation," in which the Sliders visit three parallel Earths and uncover the truth behind the multiverse and the terrible secret Quinn has a very strange approach to continuity, both referring to Seasons 3 - 5 been hiding since he got his friends back home. Most is explained, although it is only with the interlude novella, "Reminiscence," that full explanations are finally provided for how Arturo and yet contradicting them. Wade's death is referred to despite Wade being alive; were resurrected, how Quinn was restored, how the Kromagg Kromaggs were defeated and how the invasion is mentioned despite home clearly being untouched by Kromaggs; despite the prominence of sliding in the later seasons, Arturo states that only four sliders (the originals) are left as though he knows it was undone and why no one on Earth remembers it.

A final screenplay
for a fact. The script seems to delight in declaring that many unrevealed events between 2000 - 2001 brought about this back-to-basics situation. We'll have to see how Parts 2 - 3 turn out.

'''Comments:''' ''Sliders'' is a show that lost 75% of the cast, most of them suffering horrible deaths. It is a depressing series in the end, and "Slide Effects" seeks to turn that around. In an interview on [[http://earthprime.com/tracy-torme/tracy-torme-2009.html Earthprime.com]], Tormé talked about the {{AuthorsSavingThrow}} he would use to repair his series. This fanfic is Tormé's idea expanded into a 46 page script. There are lots of post-"Seer" stories, but this one's different: it's not about resolving unfinished plots or undoing the deaths. It's about returning to the Season 1/2 characters on page one and having them confront the last three seasons. The story pulls off the neat trick of undoing the latter years while still leaving emotional fallout.

'''Comments:'''This screenplay, by the author of "Slide Effects," seems to be another effort at restarting Sliders after "The Seer" but in the sense of a 2015 in-continuity movie revival. Only the first of three scripts have been released so far, but there's a 4-page prequel that takes place right after "The Seer" and shows Rembrandt coming out of the vortex and inexplicably reunited with Quinn, Wade, and Arturo and the script ends before any explanation for how three characters who were lost, dead and dead have somehow come back. References are made to Wade's death and the Kromagg invasion but, again, no explanation is given for why home is a place where sliding is a secret and nobody remembers the Kromaggs at all. The script seems to delight in referring to Seasons 3 - 5 while blatantly contradicting it and using a 15-year time-gap to justify the present status. We'll have to see how Parts 2 - 3 turn out.
