- Because of his traumatic upbringing, Izuku misconstrues Recovery Girl's ultimatum that she will not heal him anymore for a declaration that he is a useless student she is wasting her time on. He subsequently hides a broken wrist he acquired at Yuei, convinced he has to deal with it himself.
- Having a nurse with Healing Hands on Yuei's grounds means that students can be patched up very quickly and easily. It is revealed that far too many die in the field after developing bad habits that get them killed in real fights/emergencies because they forget they don't have her on standby.
- It is also made clear that being the sole healer at Yuei means that one person has had far too much responsibility and control over the health of hundreds of children.
- Entertainingly Wrong: Aizawa confuses Izuku's behavior for signs of abuse.
- Two-Teacher School: It is directly brought up that Recovery Girl is the only medical professional at Yuei, and that the school should have always had a full team.
