The The Legendary Heroes contains examples of:

  • Super-Empowering: All the Legendary Weapons can enhance their allies, companions, monsters, slaves and more. This allows for stat boosts and faster skill learning in most cases and in the case of Filolials allows them to gain enhanced intelligence, the ability to transform into a human form and using the Filolial series even gain incredible boosts to abilities
  • De-power: The Hourglass of the Dragon's Era can be used to reset a person's level to 1.The Heroes uses it as part of their strategy to imprison people, as of the fifth Arc they have used this on some church members they had captured to ensure that they have no chance of escape.
  • Corrupt Church:
    • The Three Heroes Church. Just like canon, it's a human-supremacist and racist religious organization under the control of the power-hungry and fanatical Pope Balmus, who continuously demonizes the Shield Hero and intends to maintain Melromarc's current status quo, no matter what it takes. This includes attempting to kill the Crown Princess, encouraging a major war, killing off all the nobles that support Aultcray.
    • The Grand Holy Shield Church is basically the Three Heroes Church with a completely different belief system and name. They are a demi-human supremacist church that is racist against humans, worships the Shield Hero, and demonizes the other Cardinal Heroes, and their religious head, the Patriarch, is all too willing to take bribes from nobles or the government for whatever they need of the church, no matter if it is immoral or against the Church's beliefs. They will also excommunicate and brand anyone who criticizes the Siltvelt government or their own church as heretics.

  • Fantastic Racism:
    • Just like the original story, Melromarc is a human supremacist nation with bigotry against demi-humans prevalent throughout the country, and most Demi-humans being slaves.
    • Siltvelt is a Demi-human supremacist nation and Melromarc’s counterpart, a nation ruled by Demi-humans with extreme bigotry against humans seeing most of them as stupid slow creatures and would constantly refer to them as “monkeys”, with the majority of humans in Siltvelt being enslaved just like Demi-humans are in Melromarc

  • Reality-Breaking Paradox:
    • When Medea Pideth Machina received her existence-erasing attack back, her caused a paradox that caused the multiverse and reality to collapse in on itself countless times, due to her role in merging and destroying countless worlds.

  • Experienced Protagonist: Tatsuya Shiba and Setsuna are allude to the fact that they have faced plenty of world ending threats before

  • Experience Booster: A Hero's party members are blessed by the World itself, which translates into a greatly increased EXP gain. In ideal conditions, at about a 10x rate. This is also the reason why the Four Heroes shouldn't train together, as more than one in a given area splits the benefits among their parties, thus stunting the 'Level Grinding' for everybody involved.

  • Never Gets Drunk: Naofumi can really hold his liquor to the point that he doesn't even notice he was drinking alcohol until someone tells him.

  • Reality Warper:
    • Fitoria is so old and powerful that she's not just this only out of a technicality, being able to warp time and space at will.

  • Religionof Evil: The Three Heroes Church teaches its followers (as in almost everyone in the country) to hate the Shield Hero and the demi-humans who worship him.
