The married life wasn't ever something that Emiya Shirou envisioned for himself, and yet he was now a househusband nonetheless. He loved his wife to death—even if that mecha school put her in a bad mood sometimes—but wasn't all this Infinite Stratos nonsense kind of a pain?

is a fanfic crossover of Fate/stay night and Infinite Stratos made by xolef225. Also available on SpaceBattles and on Questionable Questing along with some cool illustrations every chapter.
This story provides examples of:
- BFS: Chifuyu wielded a sword twice her size and just as wide as her with ease when she first met/fought Shirou. She later used it to interrupt a brawl between Ichika and Laura.
- Broken Pedestal: Chapter 6 has Laura stomp up to Chifuyu's home to confront over Bruunhilde losing her edge. Chifuyu can outright hear Laura's image of her shattering when she sees Chifuyu wearing one of Shirou's shirts, looking very disheveled, while holding a tray of zuppa inglese.
- Cryptic Background Reference: When Shirou notices Charles' picture, he instantly realizes that the person in question is a girl dressing as a boy, and when Chifuyu asks, merely mentions having experience with cross dressers. He's clearly thinking of Saber.
- Defeat Means Friendship: Chapter 6 all but outright states that Shirou and Chifuyu first met in Germany while Chifuyu was training the Schwarzer Hase because Shirou was investigating them for unknown reasons. The end of the chapter has them gearing up to fight, and Chifuyu's memories from an earlier point heavily imply that Shirou at least injured her badly, and possibly even won the fight outright. Several years later, the two are Happily Married.
- Entertainingly Wrong: Due to Chifuyu barely spending any time with him and giving no indication that she was dating, Ichika assumes that she's getting insecure over her Christmas Cake status and either made up a boyfriend and named him after her IS (Shirokishi) or, worse case, actually has a
Cargo Ship with said IS. - House Husband: Shirou. He stays home and takes care of the house and meals, while Chifuyu works as a homeroom teacher at IS academy. The title alone should be a good hint.
- Last Girl Wins: Chifuyu surely has, seeing how Saber, Rin and Sakura didn't. Chapter 4 shows that Rin was quite bitter when Shirou asked her to be witness to his marriage.
- Misplaced Retribution: Laura violently attacks Ichika when she believes its because of him that Chifuyu has become more domesticated, not knowing it was more due to her husband Shirou.
- Named After Somebody Famous: Taiga's daughter Alex is named after Alexander the Great. This is because her father is Waver, Iskandar's master.
- Noodle Incident: Apparently Taiga met Waver Velvet at some point in the past, and ended up marrying him and baring him a daughter.
- Only Sane Man: Shirou has become this, often being the only one not affected by the general oddity of the IS world. Ichika has lost this because of Shirou's presence, though, as his lack of interaction with Chifuyu has made him draw bizarre conclusions about her love life.
- Romantic Runner-Up: The only time we've seen Rin so far, in a flashback where Shirou asked her to be witness to his and Chifuyu's marriage, shows that she's quite bitter over Shirou finding love with someone else.
- Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: Tabane has become this to Chifuyu and Shirou, resorting to hilarious lengths to observe them and find out what they do. It happens so often that Shirou developed a secret code for when she messes with him: serving rabbit for dinner.
