Rising Sun Series is a fan fiction series begun in 2013 on Quotev. After a long haitus from 2015-2020, the series has picked up again with regular updates. It follows an ensemble cast in a crossover universe that include franchises such as Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Bungo to Alchemist, etc.

Rising Sun Series contains examples of:
- Boy Meets Girl Aurora and Josh grew up together, but were separated once Aurora was presumed dead. They are later reunited when Aurora is found to be alive and in captivity of the evil frat Quotev.
- Boy Meets Ghoul Josh and Aurora, after Josh is brought back as a vampire.
- Intro Only Pointof View: The first eight chapters are told from Liakada Black's POV.
- Danceof Romance: Square dancing is repeatedly used to further a romantic bond.
- Love Epiphany: When Albus first realizes that he is romantically interested in Scorpius after the first Triwizard event.
- Secret Relationship: Chris and Fred when they start dating in Tales from Quarantine, and Fred decides to keep it a secret because he isn't yet ready to come out.
- Evil Overlord: Ernest Hemingway as he plots with the Secrets of the Universe.
