Of Owls and Robots.
is a crossover between The Owl House and Mega Man (Archie Comics). The core premise is that Luz gets a job working at Light Labs shortly before Wily's first attack.
- Adaptational Badass:
- Amity shows that she can use more than just Abomination magic in this story, and at one point she uses healing and Abomination magic in concert to give herself Super-Strength.
- Luz also counts with her Tricked-Out Gloves that let her use a Magical Gesture to cast spells.
- Adaptational Intelligence: Luz is far from dumb in canon, but here she's smart enough to get a job working for Dr. Light fresh out of school, and created the Variable Weapons System that Mega Man uses.
- Honorary Aunt: After Wily's first defeat, the Robot Masters take to calling Luz their aunt.
- In Spite of a Nail: Despite Luz noticing what Wily is planning with his second set of Robot Masters earlier, they're still unable to upload the full antivirus in time.
- Magical Gesture: Luz's Tricked-Out Gloves have glyphs set into them that allow her to use complicated glyph combos just by making the right motions.
- Move in the Frozen Time: When Time Man is using his Time Slow ability to capture the other Robot Masters along with Oil Man, he notices Luz's eyes twitch, implying that she can somehow see them, much to the android's shock.
- Point of Divergence: Luz being present means that the group notices the trojan virus Wily put in his new Robot Master weapon data sooner, and causes Rock to break his audio receiver after fighting Heat Man.
- Shut Up, Hannibal!: When Wily is being arrested the first time, Luz points out that he didn't copy her copy chip when he copied Mega Man, and when he tries to claim that the copy did have a copy chip, Luz points out that they could always have a Robot Master dig out what's left of the copy and check. At this, Wily starts to sweat, Luz cutting through his bluster, calls him out for being a selfish and greedy old man, then shoves him into the police car and shuts the door on him.
- Tricked-Out Gloves: Luz creates a pair of gloves with glyphs worked in so she can create glyph combos on the fly. She can even use it on Earth thanks to the Titan's blood incorporated into them.
