Kipo (Hammerpaw) Oak, the Timbercat
is a AU story for Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, with modified versions of characters from, The Owl House Amphibia, and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. In this universe, Lio makes the fateful choice to rescue Hugo on his way out of the Burrow and give Kipo to him while he goes back for Song. Things go awry though, and all of them get separated and scattered through the city, with Kipo in particular ending up with the Timbercats, due to Yumyan Hammerpaw finding her and adopting her after seeing her jaguar abilities.
- Adaptational Species Change: Several characters from the non-Kipo franchises become either mutes or half-mutes, or human in a few cases.
- Half-Human Hybrid: There are a few other half-mutes besides Kipo here, namely Luz and Amity.
- Massive Multiplayer Crossover: The story focuses primarily on the Kipo elements, but there are also versions of characters from The Owl House, Amphibia, and She-Ra in major roles.
- Point of Divergence: The main divergence for Kipo is that Lio decided to go get Hugo as he was escaping with the baby Kipo. When he gives his daughter to Hugo and goes back for Song, they're all eventually separated, with has massive repercussion on the plot.
- Instead of growing up in a Burrow, Kipo is raised by the Timbercats.
- Since Lio didn't abandon Hugo, he's much better adjusted, and instead of being a warlord he opposes Dr. Emilia's plans while looking for Kipo and the rest of his family.
- Liam manages to survive after Dr. Emilia shoots him and leaves him for dead, as he's rescued by Camila, and eventually uses science to have Luz with her.
- Shout-Out: At one point Marcy mentions finding a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
- Truce Zone: The Noceda hospital is noted to be one, as all the mute factions in the city note that if they attack it they'll lose the benefit of its healers. This lets both human and mutes get healed there.
