Détente
is a Spy X Family fanfiction.
Several years after the events of the manga (which is not near completion as of the events of this writing), Agent Twilight is expected to be reassigned to another location indefinitely. In order to keep her family together, a teenage Anya resolves to prevent war herself, so her father doesn't have to. To do this, she needs to get close to Donovan Desmond. To do this, she decides to fake a relationship with his second son, Damian.
Détente provides examples of:
- Cassandra Truth: Damian thinks Anya is delusional when she reveals her telepathy. Subverted when she has him test her to prove it.
- Fake Relationship: How Anya gets into the National Unity Party Gala.
- Heroic RRoD: Downplayed. Anya becomes sick and and her vision deteriorates after using her powers too much at the gala. She recovers soon, though, with Damian's help.
