The Challenged Chronicles is a story written by Vixin 2, and was put in a web video-like format to imitate the increasingly popular works of Tribe Twelve, Everyman HYBRID, and Marble Hornets. Can be read here

The story begins with the main protagonist, a regular girl named Erika Granger, finding a strange box filled with old videogames in the new home she shares with her two friends, Daniel and Alice.
Following her playing the games, her world turns upside down as monsters from the darkest reaches of the Internet come to visit.
This story contains examples of:
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Alice was secretly involved in a homicidal cult that was hellbent on ending the world, with Erika being the main sacrifice.
- Creepypasta: All the monsters Erika encounters are at the very least derived from Creepypasta. These include: Slenderman, BEN Drowned, Jeff the Killer, and many more.
- Genre Blind: Erika really should have known better than to open an old box, which holds a bunch of game hacks that shouldn't have even existed until the Internet was popular.
- Stalker with a Crush: BEN Drowned proves to become this after meeting Erika in person.
