Fed up with not feeling appreciated by her family, Chi-Chi impulsively makes a wish to cease her existence. Shenron grants the wish. Chi-Chi wakes up in an alternate universe and she sees how things are like without her.

- Earn Your Happy Ending: Chi-Chi succeeds in un-wishing her wish, and she ends up getting her family back.
- Friendless Background: Alternate!Trunks is an angry kid who never had any friends since Goten was never born and the latter was Trunks' Only Friend.
- Innocently Insensitive: Gohan does this when he tells Chi-Chi that he would rather go to Videl's Christmas party than to spend time with his family on Christmas Eve.
