** Magical girls are cute, girlish and tend to wear teasingly suggestive clothing... that includes Charlotte Cuulhourne, whose Resurrecion includes an item of clothing that is half-jockstrap, half-tutu. His appearance leaves Yumichika uncertain whether to laugh or cry; he settles for laughing. The fanbase is equally torn, and not everyone makes the same choice as Yumichika.
** Orihime, for all of her "fame" as a MsFanservice, gets hit with this several times. Ulquiorra forces her to wear a dress reminiscent of Disney princess gowns, and get associated with princesses by other characters. During her captivity, however, this "princess" is horribly [[BreakTheCutie mistreated]], with [[ClothingDamage her clothing torn ]] from her body and specially her face. Later, she's captured by Nnoitra, who sticks his finger in her mouth to silence her - sticking fingers in the mouth [[GettingCrapPastTheRadar is associated with Japanese porn]] ''and'' Nnoitra had made some rape insinuations previously, something that squicked out [[EvenEvilHasStandards even the emotionless Ulquiorra]]. As seen above, during the Lost Agent Arc, Kubo twists one of her GagBoobs stances into a disconcerting scene that shows Tsukishima's sword slicing through her chest ''and'' [[CloseCallHaircut her hair]].
** LettingHerHairDown often leads to major fanservice in characters who are generally reserved. Captain Retsu Unohana is [[AllThereInTheManual usually viewed]] as a RavenHairIvorySkin beauty, considered the [[WorldsMostBeautifulWoman prettiest lady in Soul Society]]. Until she lets her hair down when she finally fights, that is. At that point she stops being the beautiful, serene and classy YamatoNadeshiko... and becomes an AxCrazy EeriePaleSkinnedBrunette with an incredibly creepy and scary air. WordOfGod stated this was deliberate to make the two faces of Captain Unohana as dramatically different as possible.
** On one scene, MsFanservice Bambietta can be seen in a state of disarray. Her stockings are gone, her top is unzipped to reveal she's a HiddenBuxom, and there's a sheen of sweat on her face. However, the sight of her is viewed from the foreground drama of her boytoy being [[DeathBySex split in two]] as she [[HalfTheManHeUsedToBe cuts him in half]]. Then we get two panels after that which show a close-up of her [[HiddenBuxom her bigger than we thought boobs]] and a shot of her trying to fix her skirt (and probably her underwear).
** Similarly, Bambietta's friend Meninas is a CuteBruiser [[KickingAssInAllHerFinery with very frilly clothes]] and ''massive'' boobs. But one of the times when they're ''specially'' on display takes place when [[spoiler: she and the other girls get shot through their stomachs by Baz-bee]].
** The very beautiful Masaki [[OutOfClothesExperience is displayed in all her nude glory]]... [[spoiler:inside her own inner world, when about to be absorbed by the hollow Aizen created. The nudity emphasises just how helpless and vulnerable she is - completely exposed without protection to the threat about to destroy her very soul.]] And for worse, her rather large GagBoobs are shown [[spoiler: ''[[TorsoWithAView and she's got quite the hole between them]]''.]]
** Would anyone like to see [[MrFanservice the quite cute-looking]] [[spoiler: Hitsugaya]] all DressedToKill in something else than his Shinigami robes? Too bad this takes place [[spoiler: when he has been turned into a zombie by [[TheNecroMancer Giselle]] and [[CombatPragmatist mercilessly attacking]] the people who had been his allies until few ago]].

* ''Anime/BusouRenkin'' - Papillon's outfit. It's PlayedForLaughs on multiple occasions, including a BeachEpisode in which he appears in the most nausea-inducing banana hammock imaginable.
* ''Anime/PerfectBlue'' has a good amount of this. There's the rape scenes, the scenes where Mima is getting photographed naked (pubes and all), Rumi in the [[spoiler: CHAM get-up]], etc.
** The photograph scene comes back later on. During yet another reality-bending sequence, we see [[spoiler: what looks like Mima in a pizza delivery outfit murdering one of the men on her production team. The shots of her crazily, repeatedly stabbing him are interspersed with shots of her being photographed naked. It seems like an attack on the acting/media industry and its effect on women that was ahead of its time. Of course, the woman was probably Rumi being shown as Mima, as happens later on.]]
* ''Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion'' is chock-full of it.
** Along with the numerous nude scenes Rei has, perhaps the best example is the scene where [[DespairEventHorizon the massively broken]] Shinji loses it and [[ADateWithRosiePalms "confronts"]] [[DudeShesLikeInAComa a semi-naked yet comatose Asuka]] at the beginning of ''End of Evangelion''. ** In ''End of Eva'', Rei nearly spent the entire time naked. However, every scene featuring her was paired up with her staring at the floating intestines of [[spoiler:her clones]]; or her left arm randomly falling off while she's talking to Gendo [[spoiler:because her AT field is failing]]; or [[spoiler:Gendo placing his hand on her breast, immediately followed by said hand ''morphing through her body'' so he can place the Adam embryo that's grafted on directly into her womb]]; or [[spoiler:going through some ugly TransformationTrauma to a giant, quasi-godlike being that sucked out everyone's soul, only to fall apart in the most disturbing ways]].
** After devouring [[spoiler:Unit-00 with its pilot]] in the remake ''[[Anime/RebuildOfEvangelion Evangelion 2.22]]'' Angel Zeruel assumes the form of naked female torso and lower body - along with its original Angel upper half and two arms the length of its body.
** Asuka has a FuroScene near the end of the series - when she's in the middle of a ''terrible'' breakdown, claiming that she hates the whole world while clutching her belly, seemingly in pain due to period cramps. Later, she's seen naked in a bathtub; [[spoiler:her cheeks are hollow, and she's very much crossed the DespairEventHorizon by now as she claims to have no will to live anymore. What little water there is in the bath appears to be red, giving the implication that she's just tried to ''kill herself'' [[BathSuicide by slitting her wrists]].]]
** In episode 23 we briefly see [[HotScientist Ritsuko]] naked. However, she's [[spoiler:being humiliated [[ShamefulStrip by being made to stand naked before the SEELE group as they verbally harrass her, and she's utterly depressed]]]]. Also, later in the episode we see [[spoiler:a graveyard of Eva skeletons in the basement, making Rei's hobby of going there naked much worse. We also see soulless and naked dummies of Rei being destroyed by Ritsuko, while they giggle in a creepy manner, and Ritsuko herself is crossing the DespairEventHorizon in front of Misato and Shinji and begging her friend [[PleaseKillMeIfItSatisfiesYou to put her out of her misery]].]]
** A couple of times in End of Evangelion we see Asuka wearing skimpy wear, daisy dukes and a tank top with close-ups on her chest and butt. {{Fanservice}}, right? Not when she's depressed and having a breakdown in the one scene and yelling at Shinji in the other scene while disturbing music plays in the background.
* Most of the "fanservice", of which there is a large amount, in Studio Gonzo's bizarre action series ''Anime/SpeedGrapher''. This is partly due to the fact that it's based around people who have become the AnthropomorphicPersonification of disturbing sexual fetishes.
** Kagura Tennozou is a beautiful young girl with long legs and a cute, doll-like face... except that whenever she's shown in anything similar to {{fanservice}}, she's being physically/emotionally abused and/or downright molested. Sometimes, while wearing a very {{Stripperiffic}} white outfit, and at others when she's ''very'' obviously too drugged to react to anyone around her. Not to mention, she's just ''fifteen'' years old, and supposed to [[OlderThanTheyLook look even younger]] [[NotAllowedToGrowUp since her growth has been artificially stunted]].
** TheDragon Tsujido is a fairly TallDarkAndHandsome man, so seeing him naked or half-naked would be nice. And yet the time this happens, [[spoiler: it's in a flashback to the time [[IOweYouMyLife Suitengu rescued him]] from sexual slavery... meaning he's been mutilated, forcibly stripped, and almost surely [[RapeAsDrama raped]] by a politician.]]
* ''Manga/ElfenLied'' begins with the very beautiful Lucy walking around wearing nothing but a helmet -- [[FullFrontalAssault while slaughtering people left and right.]] Within the first six minutes of the first episode alone, she kills 23 people.
** Practically any nudity scene, especially of the Dicloni, counts. Cute, young girls all naked? Nice. Cute, young girls all naked and covered in blood or, in Nana's case, having their limbs ripped off? Not so nice.
* ''Manga/HauntedJunction'' loved this. Kazumi (and the audience) would think he was looking at (or buried in) a woman's breasts, only to find himself face-first in some male's butt.
* ''Manga/FullmetalAlchemist'' :
** Hiromu Arakawa used this for comedy in an omake - it showed us Winry's ''grandmother'' Pinako in a bikini, calling her the 'heroine of ''Fullmetal Alchemist''[='=], with the words 'anti-fanservice' underneath.
** It's also played for [[MoodDissonance drama]] many times, like Roy's ShirtlessScene [[spoiler: showing his bloody and wrecked side after he used his fire powers to cauterize his own wounds]], Riza toweling herself after a shower [[spoiler: revealing the alchemy-related tattoo and the scars on her back]], Ling taking off his shirt [[spoiler: to bandage Lan Fan's [[AnArmAndALeg arm stump]] with it after she mutilates herself to save both of their lives]]... but the undisputed champion must be the moment when Ed sees [[spoiler: Al's fully naked but '''terribly emaciated''' body on the other side of the Door]].
** When [[spoiler:Father obtains God, he turns into an incredibly hot, muscular man]], this look cemented status in the DracoInLeatherPants fandom, but in the Brotherhood anime adaptation... [[spoiler:He [[VocalDissonance keeps his old man voice]], ''in a body that looks like Slave 23, aka Young Hohenheim'']]. It's like the ''Brotherhood'' staff got word of the DILP status said chara had reached, went all "HEEEEELL, NOOOOO!!" and decided to invoke the trope at full speed.
** While fighting [[spoiler:Mustang]], [[EvilIsSexy Lust]] looks like she's about to pull down her dress only for her to ''rip open her chest cavity'' to expose her Philosopher's Stone.
** In the [[Anime/FullMetalAlchemist first series]], towards the end, Edward meets up with two beautiful young women clad in just as glamorous {{pimped out dress}}es. Bad thing, one is [[spoiler: his friend Rose Thomas, who has been either drugged or brainwashed into acting like TheOphelia, and therefore [[EmptyShell barely reacts to anything around her]].]] The other is [[spoiler: the BigBad and local VainSorceress Dante - whose body [[GrandTheftMe isn't actually hers to start with]] but was stolen from her student Lyra to [[{{Immortality}} keep living forever]].]] So any aesthetic appreciation goes away thanks not just to such details, but to the horrible trauma and heartbreak that goes on...
** The ''Brotherhood'' eyecatches occasionally dip into this too, by showing some half-nude characters in ''very'' vulnerable moments. One has a shorthaired young Riza with her bare back exposed [[spoiler: and her alchemy tattoo on full display]], a second has an older and long-haired Riza also with her [[spoiler: tattooed]] back uncovered and [[LeaningOnTheFourthWall looking at the viewer]] as if silently begging "DontLookAtMe", and a third one has [[CuteBruiser Ran Fan]] only wearing her {{sarashi}} [[spoiler: and lacking an arm.]]
** The [[spoiler: [[ArtificialHuman Mannequin]] [[PoweredByAForsakenChild Soldiers]] ]] fight [[FullFrontalAssault completely nude ]]. They're also [[GoneHorriblyWrong horribly]], [[ImAHumanitarian horribly]] [[NightOfTheLivingMooks creepy.]]
** [[spoiler: The first]] Greed is seen [[BoundAndGagged bound in chains]] while [[HellBentForLeather wearing leather]]... Bad thing, his shoulders are pierced by metal bars and he's about to [[spoiler: be [[CruelAndUnusualDeath die very painfully by being]] ''[[CruelAndUnusualDeath boiled down to his Philosopher's Stone]]'' and be re-absorbed into [[BigBad Father]]]]...
* ''Manga/GunslingerGirl'':
** In the sixth volume there is a page of Alessandro clinically and unemotionally inspecting the body of his new cyborg, mostly since said cyborg is an unconscious teenage girl who at the time looks nothing if not dead.
** It also has the lovely side shot of a half-naked Triela, [[spoiler:after being found at the scene of her rescue from her "accident" (being the starlet in a snuff film)]]. For worse, she's no older than 12.
** Claes in her underwear [[spoiler:when she's having a medical test and it's revealed she has a heart condition]]. Again, we're talking about a girl under 12.
* ''Manga/{{Gantz}}'' does this a lot, but it peaks in one manga, [[spoiler:''where a giant alien monster turns into a giant naked woman made up of smaller naked women.'' Women fingers, a fully expressive face made up of female bodies... and then one of the Gantz team ''tries to have sex with it in the mouth''.]]
* ''Manga/TheKurosagiCorpseDeliveryService''. Large amounts of female nudity. Almost entirely from corpses. Many of which are decomposed or badly mutilated. When one of the living female characters appears naked in the fourth volume the shock of genuine FanService is palpable... up until you remember [[FamilyUnfriendlyDeath the bad guys are planning to replace her bodily fluids with preservatives while she's alive.]]
* ''Anime/WelcomeToTheNHK'' features several nude scenes, but almost all of them are rather distressing borderline-Loli rape-fantasies from the mentally disturbed hero. In the original ending, in which the scenes are played out by the physical manifestation of his insanity - a grey demon-imp-creature with an excessively masculine voice wearing a pointy nightcap.
* A lot of the nudity in ''Anime/{{Mnemosyne}}'' is this, from Rin being chased while half-naked before being blown away in a messy and disturbing manner, to her being tortured to death by a cheerfully sadistic research scientist who happily cut her clothes away before piercing every inch of her body and then bashing her brains in with a large club. [[NighInvulnerability Immortality has its downsides]].
* ''Manga/{{Monster}}'' :
** There are plenty of scenes taking place in various red-light districts, often featuring startlingly bold frontal nudity and scenes of sexual content. These couldn't possibly be any ''less'' erotic, because they're all drawn with unflattering details intact -- and the actual prostitutes and strippers we see make it clear just how degrading and sleazy this is.
** Also, there's the flashback sex scene between [[spoiler:Eva and Roberto]]. To make it even more squicky, [[spoiler:it's entirely from Eva's POV, meaning the entirety of it is spent focusing on ''[[{{Gonk}} Roberto]]'']].
* The nudity scenes in the ''Manga/BlackJack'' [=OVAs=] tend to be of this sort.
** When Michelle goes full frontal, it's not for the sake of a sexy [[{{Fanservice}} shower scene]] so much as it's to show how much her body has deteriorated from a few weeks ago. In fact, the sight of herself in the mirror this way is enough for her to reach for [[DrivenToSuicide the razor blade]].
** The greatest example is in the Ninth OVA 'The Carbuncle' when [[spoiler: a mysterious female serial killer is revealed to be Black Jack's ''male'' patient, who suffers from a face shaped tumor on his stomach and is presumably being controlled by it. 'She' rips off the blanket covering her naked body... to reveal numerous face shaped tumors all over 'her' arms, stomach and torso, all of which laugh evilly along with 'her']].
** There are similar examples in ''Say Hello to Black Jack''. When a person is shown naked, it's often an elderly person or a cancer patient drawn with icky details.
* ''Manga/ThePingPongClub'' is another example of this; ostensibly an {{ecchi}} series, the unattractiveness of both the art and the teenage male characters' personalities turn multiple fetish cameos into "ugh" moments.
* ''Manga/{{Saikano}}'':
** Chise spends a lot of time naked, and near the end [[spoiler:there's a remarkably graphic and surprisingly well drawn sex scene between her and Shuji]]. It's in such a context that you may have trouble even seeing it [[TearJerker through your tears]]. And then [[spoiler:at one point, her arm falls off during coitus and she has to reattatch it. They keep going.]]
** This is preceded (at least in the manga) by two equally fitting sequences: [[spoiler:the scenes of Fuyumi's tryst with the 13-year-old Shuji]] and [[spoiler:Shuji's final sequence with Akemi. After a particularly devastating enemy attack and Chise's counterattack, Shuji finds poor Akemi on her deathbed, bloodied and broken, where she confesses that she has loved Shuji for a long time, and asks him to look at her naked and to touch her breasts even as her injuries sap the last of her strength. It's a brutal mix of {{Squick}} and TearJerker.]]
* ''Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann'':
** At some point in the manga, Yoko takes a shower that shows us her beautiful body in all detail. However, said ShowerScene is a [[TearJerker heartbreaking]] ShowerOfAngst coming right after [[spoiler: Kamina's death in battle]]. Yeah, we're ''really'' gonna oggle her [[TheWoobie when she's like that.]] For worse, there was a similar scene in the anime... and it was '''less''' fanservicy.
** In TheMovie, the sight of a naked Nia would be nice... [[spoiler: except that she's getting tentacle-raped by the Anti-Spiral and then dematerializes.]]
* ''VisualNovel/HigurashiWhenTheyCry'' has scenes with characters locked up in dungeons, chained to tables, and even bound to crosses. And {{Gainaxing}}. It all just contributes to the horror of how the former friends are about to brutally murder one another over some silly misunderstanding [[spoiler: often caused by the [[HatePlague Hinamizawa Syndrome]].]] The most obvious one has [[spoiler: both Sonozaki twins]] wearing white robes and clearly [[VaporWear without bras/panties underneath]]... but [[spoiler: poor Mion is locked inside a dungeon, and she's being ForcedToWatch how a HatePlague-affected!Shion in full {{Yandere}} mode brutally crucifies, tortures and stabs their common elementary aged friend Satoko to death.]]
** The last episode of Tatarigoroshi-hen has a FuroScene. Three things bad about this scene: [[spoiler:1. The character bathing is a little girl --namely, Satoko. 2. Her abusive uncle forced her to take a bath. A ''very hot bath''. 3. She's being forced to (or rather, the HatePlague is making her think so) count to 10,000 in the bath, and has been counting all night; when Keiichi breaks in, she is only halfway done with her counting.]]
** Let's not forget the most common way Rika, a very young girl ([[spoiler: in looks]]) is killed throughout the series. She is usually [[spoiler: found at the shrine, naked and disemboweled, complete with crows eating her remains]].
** And then we get to the first episode of the ''Rei'' OVA series, where the loving close-ups of Keiichi's crotch and rear while he's in a speedo are not going to go away without industrial strength BrainBleach.
** What about [[spoiler: the [[HospitalHottie very lovely-looking]] Nurse Miyo Takano revealing her true colors]] and [[spoiler: going on a massive killing spree]] while [[DressedToKill classily dressed in black]]?
* ''VisualNovel/UminekoWhenTheyCry'': In the second ending [[spoiler:Beatrice demands that Battler undress and redress her for a banquet, given his new status as Beatrice's furniture. All the while, [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech she lectures him about how pathetic he is]] and why she is not afraid of being undressed in front of him. She then [[ShamefulStrip strips him]] [[GoGoEnslavement and puts him in chains]]... in order to show off to everyone at the banquet. And then they rip him apart and devour him.]]
* ''Manga/OnePiece'':
** The busty [[AloofDarkHairedGirl Robin]] spends two long arcs wearing [[HellBentForLeather lots of leather]] and a cleavage-baring blouse... while getting beaten bloody and quite literally "biting the curb" as Spandam tries to drag her away. In a scene that strongly resembles a rape.
** Nami gets pinned to the wall by an invisible Absalom when she's taking a bath -- again, with the uncanny resemblance to a rape.
** There are some characters who are WalkingShirtlessScene types. However, Hannyabal and Blackbeard, two very unattractive men, are among them.
** New Kama Land. Sanji [[WholesomeCrossdresser in a dress]] fighting while wearing bloomers. The man he is fighting is a ''gonk'' in a dress with ''fake breasts''.
** In a flashback during the Amazon Lily arc, a very cute-looking pre-teen girl is seen her hair in pigtails and wearing both ZettaiRyouiki and a midriff-baring outfit... [[spoiler: That girl is a 12-year-old Boa Hancock; she's also in ''chains'' alongside her sisters Sandersonia and Marigold, and the three are utterly ''terrified'' since they're about to be subjected to ''years'' of cruel punishments, tortures and humiliations coming from the World Nobles.]]
** Zoro with [[ClothingDamage his shirt all torn up]] is pretty studly. Zoro with his shirt torn while dripping in his own blood and so hurt he can barely stand? Not quite as appealing.
** Lampshaded and subverted in the Enies Lobby Arc. Old lady Kokoro offers to strip after seeing the reactions of the other men to Nami changing and gearing up for battle (the train they're on has only one room). Understandably they beg her to spare them the agony.
* ''Anime/MaiHime'':
** After the PostEpisodeTrailer in each episode there is a short, generally {{fanservice}}-y {{omake}} for a character who featured prominently in that episode. The one for Akane Higurashi features a voiceover in which she's talking to [[spoiler:her boyfriend Kazuya, who died in that episode]], and the last shot fades from a picture showing her in her underwear to [[spoiler:black, with her [=HiME=] mark glowing red in the dark, after she lost it, and her powers, in the same incident that took Kazuya's life.]]
** Another pops up later in the series, when Shizuru [[spoiler:[[SexySilhouette undresses in front of Natsuki]] and lying down with her... except Natsuki's ''also'' [[DudeShesLikeInAComa asleep at the time]], leading to a rather disturbing conclusion reached by Haruka and Yukino, who suggest that Shizuru raped Natsuki in her sleep]]. It is unclear, however, whether the shot of [[spoiler:Shizuru disrobing]] is what happened or a reproduction of what Yukino saw with her powers.
* ''Manga/MahouSenseiNegima'':
** Tsukuyomi went from a semi ditzy minor minion to a rather creepy DepravedBisexual over the process of her second fight with Setsuna, which was actually closer to her ''almost raping her rival.'' Seriously, she was straddling Setsuna while giggling and begging her to "satisfy" her... and [[ShamefulStrip gleefully cutting]] an horrified Setsuna's {{sarashi}} chest binds with her sword...

In fact, it's mentioned that Genma's panda form is apparently fat and ugly even by panda standards. Episode 110 deserves special mention for its featuring ''Dominatrix Genma'', complete with leather bustier, fishnets and whip.
* ''Manga/KenkoZenrakeiSuieibuUmisho'' is all about the swim team fanservice. Unfortunately, this includes the male team captain Ikamasa, who's an annoying, cartoonish blowhard.
* Similarly, Onsokumaru of ''Manga/NininGaShinobuden'' frequently shapeshifts into a big muscle-man... [[http://parody.blog5.fc2.com/blog-entry-38.html without changing his colour (bright yellow) or his minimalist facial features.]]
* In the ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsOriginalGeneration OVA'', we are given a lot of opportunities of [[RidiculouslyHumanRobot Lamia Loveless]] being restrained with cables, butt naked... while her personality is being drained and had it not been due to her robotic nature, she'd be a pile of goo in a short moment (this happens to a nameless woman they encountered before). Then you see her riding another robot, still strapped and butt naked. Except... she's BrainwashedAndCrazy and trying to KILL the protagonists.
* ''Manga/{{Claymore}}'':

** In the second series, the flashbacks of [[spoiler: Jim Macken aka Alois as the SexSlave of the previous Earl Trancy]] were definitely this. ** DirtyOldMan Aham demonstrating the "sexy" MagicDance that triggers Natsumi's TransformationSequence.
** Natsumi herself doing that dance is guaranteed to discomfit a few viewers. She's ''ten years old.''
* ''Manga/{{Naruto}}'':
** There is so much FanDisservice surrounding Orochimaru that his actual evildoing doesn't compare to the amount of {{Squick}} he causes. He has a ShowerScene when his arm was ''suffering from severe necrosis'' because part of his soul was eaten by a {{shinigami}}. There's also the [[{{Does This Remind You Of Anything}} constant implications]] that he is a paedophile, what with his habit of seducing people with promises of power, and said people typically being mentally disturbed orphans of both genders under the age of 13, and wanting to take the body of his favourite one, Sasuke. Apparently it was ''intentional''.
** For that matter, quite a few villains (including a lot of Akatsuki) end up [[ShirtlessScene shirtless]] when fighting, but it's rarely a nice sight as it usually shows how completely fucked most of their bodies are: Kakuzu's showed off that he's pretty much a living ragdoll, Pain's cloak getting blown off showed that his ''entire'' body is covered in those [[SpikesOfVillainy piercings]], and if Danzo losing part of his shirt wasn't bad enough, being a very old man, it showed off [[spoiler:in addition to his [[EyesDoNotBelongThere eye covered arm]] he has a ''human face on his shoulder'']].
** Chapter 579 features Kabuto shirtless, which wouldn't be so bad seeing as how he's normally such a bishonen but at this point he's had quite a bit of SanitySlippage following [[spoiler: Orochimaru's death]], he's fused with [[spoiler: Orochimaru's remains]] and has [[BodyHorror a creepy scaly look to his skin]] as a result of the fusing process ''and'' going into [[spoiler: Sage Mode.]]
** [[FromBadToWorse Then it gets worse.]] Shirtless [[{{Bishonen}} Deidara]] [[spoiler: stuffs clay into his [[BodyHorror giant chest mouth]] [[TakingYouWithMe for his suicide bomber technique]]]], Kisame [[spoiler: [[FusionDance merged with Samehada]] and pretty much turned into a pufferfish]], the normally [[MrFanservice extremely Bishie]] and stoic [[spoiler: Uchihas]] keep going [[WhenSheSmiles laughing]] [[NotSoStoic mad]], and [[HoYay Shirtless Kakuzu pins Kakashi to the ground]] with CombatTentacles [[spoiler: in preparation to literally rip his heart out to continue his immortality]]. Then Zetsu became a plot point.
** In one Shippuden opening we see what appears to be a nude Sasuke. [[{{Bishonen}} Yay]], [[MrFanservice right?]] Not when you see him wrapped up in Orochimaru's snakes with Orochimaru's eyes watching the image.
** Played for very squicky laughs in the HighSchoolAU Omake. The girls show up in very cute {{sailor fuku}}... and so do [[CreepyCrossdresser Orochimaru and Kabuto]]. M-my eyes.
** In ''The Last'' movie, Hinata is seen [[SheCleansUpNicely clad in a very pretty black outfit.]] Problem is... [[spoiler: she wears it when [[GoGoEnslavement she's a prisoner]] of the BigBad Toneri, who is also her StalkerWithACrush and plans to either force or brainwash her into marrying him.]]
* The various openings for ''Zoku Manga/SayonaraZetsubouSensei'' contain a scene where Itoshiki-sensei and his stalker/student are falling through the sky, grasping for each other. They finally catch each other's hand and embrace in an ''intensely'' romantic fashion... at least, it seems romantic until you think about why they're falling - then it becomes not a little horrifying.
* Episode 14 of ''Anime/TheVisionOfEscaflowne'': shirtless [[{{Bishonen}} Van]]? Awesome. Shirtless Van writhing and screaming in unimaginable agony while bleeding from countless [[{{Synchronization}} psychosomatic wounds that won't close]]? Yikes.
** Later, a beautiful young girl is prancing around in what seems to be an inner garden... Then she begins [[TheOphelia to act very oddly]], which makes the scene really unsettling... And later there's an even worse kicker: [[spoiler: the beautiful young girl is ''Dilandau''. Or better said, Selena aka ''the girl that Dilandau originally was'' before being horribly experimented on.]] By the time the audience realizes that, the formerly strange but not terrible scene is ''pure horror'' without even a drop of blood being spilled.
* The ''Manga/BlueSeed'' "{{Omake}} Theater" 12. Case in point, Momiji's '''grandma''' going to town and dancing in this skimpy outfit. Complete with a scene with her flabby granny boobs flopping around while she dances. The outfit that would be total fanservice on any other female character in the series, combined with grandma's body... granted, many of these segments probably ''were'' intended to be silly, but this one is a cross between CrowningMomentOfFunny and horror.
* ''Anime/CodeGeass'':
** Nina... [[ADateWithRosiePalms and]] [[CargoShip Table-kun]].
** Lelouch is normally a TallDarkAndSnarky MagnificentBastard who [[AttractiveBentGender looks]] ''[[AttractiveBentGender gorgeous]]'' [[CrossDresser in female clothes.]] However, in his BellyDancer stunt in the video dramas, the picture of him with his bare midriff and clad in skimpy clothes is.. eugh. The drawing style ''really'' didn't favor his body shape, and his horribly long torso was a stark contrast with Kallen and C.C who did their MsFanservice "roles" far better.
** Also, Suzaku in a midriff-baring female cheerleader uniform in the ''Lost Colors'' game. It was hilarious to see [[CovertPervert Suzaku]] laughing and having fun with it, and he himself is TallDarkAndHandsome... but he's got exactly the same torso problems as Lelouch (this time, you can see Suzaku's ''ribs''!) and thus he looks more freaky then sexy.
** Then we see that Rai, the game's lead character, is right behind him. He's also crossdressing... and his AnimeChineseGirl outfit includes HUGE and saggy fake breasts. Erm.
** While Kallen is ''the'' MsFanservice from the series, no viewer is supposed to enjoy seeing her when she's working undercover in a casino and gets harassed by a Britannian gambler when she's wearing a playboy bunny-like attire and is [[FullyClothedNudity clearly uncomfortable with the entire situation]]. It's even more obvious how bad this is for her in that she's clearly more distressed at this than when she encountered Suzaku [[FullFrontalAssault and was completely naked]].
* ''Anime/DarkerThanBlack'' has several scenes involving naked or barely-dressed Dolls that are more [[UncannyValley freaky]] than sexy. On another front, the {{OVA}}, in its grand quest to parody the entire series, gives us a rather ugly guy with the same "teleport out of your clothes" power the [[InnocentFanserviceGirl Sociopathic Fanservice Girl]] has.
* ''LightNovel/{{Durarara}}'':
** The scene where a naked [[HeadlessHorseman Celty]] is being [[TheyWouldCutYouUp vivisected while fully conscious]] by [[spoiler: Shinra's father Shingen]].

* The opening chapters of ''Manga/{{Akumetsu}}'' contain scenes of [[DirtyOldMan Dirty Old Men]] molesting schoolgirls.

One day, some bandits show up and demand the usual for bandits in Trigun: money and vengeance. Vash requests that they leave; the bandits reply (jokingly) that they will leave if he strips naked and acts like a dog. With only a moment of hesitation to extract a promise from them that they will really leave, Vash rips off his clothes... [[spoiler: and reveals a [[CoveredWithScars mass of ugly scars]] that completely cover his body, huge metallic stitches, flecks of dried blood, and horrible wounds, including the prosthetic that replaces his left arm.]] Even the bandits looked shocked at the sheer amount of scar tissue... and then Vash is not fussed, and actually makes good on acting like a dog, until the bandits themselves are screaming for him to stop.
** Legato Bluesummers is a {{Goth}}y {{Bishounen}} whose attire includes a skin-tight black shirt, [[DracoInLeatherPants leather pants]], a BadassLongcoat; and he has a [[Creator/ToshihikoSeki sultry if creepy-sounding]] voice to match. He is, however, still arguably the cruelest and most depraved character in the entire show--it's implied that he's a ''[[ImAHumanitarian cannibal]]'', for one thing. His backstory in ''Trigun Maximum'' takes it one step further: turns out, [[spoiler: he used to be a ''SexSlave''!]]
* In ''Anime/SaintSeiya'', when our hero reaches for [[spoiler: the Pope aka Gemini Saga]], we get to see his until-then [[CoolMask covered face]] clearly -- and he's [[BiShonen a really beautiful man.]] It quickly turns into this when [[spoiler: he suffers a massive SplitPersonalityTakeover]]: Seiya undestandably gets scared and tries to attack him, which only destroys the robe he's wearing so [[spoiler: Saga]] ends up [[FullFrontalAssault naked, in the shadows.]] Yeah, he [[spoiler: dons his armor a few seconds after]], but seeing this naked, gorgeous [[spoiler: and '''completely unhinged''']] PrettyBoy in the dark during that brief scene is much more intimidating than sexy.

And a third catch: [[spoiler: the aforementioned Nui is an ArtificialHuman who not only was created by Ragyo, but also ''considers her creator as her mother'' -- complete with calling her "Maman" (the French word for "Mom")]]. ''Ouch.''
** Ragyo's entire appearance seems to deconstruct the MsFanservice trope. While on paper, a middle aged woman with exotic hair and eyes, one of the few characters who definitely wears make up, a deep voice and has an impossible figure would seem attractive, her overall appearance makes her look more like a ghoul than anything with her nails frequently looking like talons, her eyes have a permanent predatory look to them, her deep voice emphasizes fear rather than arousal and her figure just accents her almost [[StealthPun alien]] appearance. And then you get to her personally, which is...[[ParentalIncest dis]][[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil turb]][[MoralEventHorizon ing]] to say the least

** Two schoolgirls named Toshimi and Misuzu are running around promising to survive the ZombieApocalypse, but Toshimi gets caught by the zombie horde. After Misuzu [[KickTheDog kicks her away to save herself]] [[spoiler: right before [[LaserGuidedKarma she's caught and eaten too]]]], the last thing seen from poor Toshimi is her lower body, [[PantyShot her yellow panties on display]] as she's EatenAlive.
* When Erza is captured by Tartaros in ''Manga/FairyTail'', she is completely naked and chained to a wall in a room full of lit candles. ** There's a repeated scene of the aftermath of the [[spoiler: Walpurgisnacht]] battle. In [[spoiler: one of the old timelines]], the very cute-looking Madoka and Homura are lying in the water together, [[spoiler: near witch-ification.]] There's a short of Homura lying in the water in her school uniform, [[ShesGotLegs showing a suspicious amount of her slender legs]]... but given what being a 'magical girl' has sometimes been seen as a metaphor for, the disservice was probably intentional, as poor Homura (who is only 14 years old ''tops'') is ''very'' battered up by this point, and we've already seen [[spoiler: the gruesome death of numerous of the moe-eyed girls]].

One has a shorthaired young Riza with her bare back exposed [[spoiler: and her alchemy tattoo on full display]], a second has an older and long-haired Riza also with her [[spoiler: tattooed]] back uncovered and [[LeaningOnTheFourthWall looking at the viewer]] as if silently begging "DontLookAtMe", and a third one has [[CuteBruiser Ran Fan]] only wearing her {{sarashi}} [[spoiler: and lacking an arm.]]

There's also the [[{{Does This Remind You Of Anything}} constant implications]] that he is a paedophile, what with his habit of seducing people with promises of power, and said people typically being mentally disturbed orphans of both genders under the age of 13, and wanting to take the body of his favourite one, Sasuke. Apparently it was ''intentional''.
** For that matter, quite a few villains (including a lot of Akatsuki) end up [[ShirtlessScene shirtless]] when fighting, but it's rarely a nice sight as it usually shows how completely fucked most of their bodies are: Kakuzu's showed off that he's pretty much a living ragdoll, Pain's cloak getting blown off showed that his ''entire'' body is covered in those [[SpikesOfVillainy piercings]], and if Danzo losing part of his shirt wasn't bad enough, being a very old man, it showed off [[spoiler:in addition to his [[EyesDoNotBelongThere eye covered arm]] he has a ''human face on his shoulder'']].
** Chapter 579 features Kabuto shirtless, which wouldn't be so bad seeing as how he's normally such a bishonen but at this point he's had quite a bit of SanitySlippage following [[spoiler: Orochimaru's death]], he's fused with [[spoiler: Orochimaru's remains]] and has [[BodyHorror a creepy scaly look to his skin]] as a result of the fusing process ''and'' going into [[spoiler: Sage Mode.]]
** [[FromBadToWorse Then it gets worse.]] Shirtless [[{{Bishonen}} Deidara]] [[spoiler: stuffs clay into his [[BodyHorror giant chest mouth]] [[TakingYouWithMe for his suicide bomber technique]]]], Kisame [[spoiler: [[FusionDance merged with Samehada]] and pretty much turned into a pufferfish]], the normally [[MrFanservice extremely Bishie]] and stoic [[spoiler: Uchihas]] keep going [[WhenSheSmiles laughing]] [[NotSoStoic mad]], and [[HoYay Shirtless Kakuzu pins Kakashi to the ground]] with CombatTentacles [[spoiler: in preparation to literally rip his heart out to continue his immortality]]. Then Zetsu became a plot point.
** In one Shippuden opening we see what appears to be a nude Sasuke. [[{{Bishonen}} Yay]], [[MrFanservice right?]] Not when you see him wrapped up in Orochimaru's snakes with Orochimaru's eyes watching the image.
** Played for very squicky laughs in the HighSchoolAU Omake. The girls show up in very cute {{sailor fuku}}... and so do [[CreepyCrossdresser Orochimaru and Kabuto]]. M-my eyes.
** In ''The Last'' movie, Hinata is seen [[SheCleansUpNicely clad in a very pretty black outfit.]] Problem is... [[spoiler: she wears it when [[GoGoEnslavement she's a prisoner]] of the BigBad Toneri, who is also her StalkerWithACrush and plans to either force or brainwash her into marrying him.]]

* ''Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion'' is chock-full of it.
** Along with the numerous nude scenes Rei has, perhaps the best example is the scene where [[DespairEventHorizon the massively broken]] Shinji loses it and [[ADateWithRosiePalms "confronts"]] [[DudeShesLikeInAComa a semi-naked yet comatose Asuka]] at the beginning of ''End of Evangelion''. That scene eventually grew infamous enough that the manga quietly excised it for something equally disturbing yet not so icky.
** In ''End of Eva'', Rei nearly spent the entire time naked. However, every scene featuring her was paired up with her staring at the floating intestines of [[spoiler:her clones]]; or her left arm randomly falling off while she's talking to Gendo [[spoiler:because her AT field is failing]]; or [[spoiler:Gendo placing his hand on her breast, immediately followed by said hand ''morphing through her body'' so he can place the Adam embryo that's grafted on directly into her womb]]; or [[spoiler:going through some ugly TransformationTrauma to a giant, quasi-godlike being that sucked out everyone's soul, only to fall apart in the most disturbing ways]].
** After devouring [[spoiler:Unit-00 with its pilot]] in the remake ''[[Anime/RebuildOfEvangelion Evangelion 2.22]]'' Angel Zeruel assumes the form of naked female torso and lower body - along with its original Angel upper half and two arms the length of its body.
** Asuka has a FuroScene near the end of the series - when she's in the middle of a ''terrible'' breakdown, claiming that she hates the whole world while clutching her belly, seemingly in pain due to period cramps. Later, she's seen naked in a bathtub; [[spoiler:her cheeks are hollow, and she's very much crossed the DespairEventHorizon by now as she claims to have no will to live anymore. What little water there is in the bath appears to be red, giving the implication that she's just tried to ''kill herself'' [[BathSuicide by slitting her wrists]].]]
** In episode 23 we briefly see [[HotScientist Ritsuko]] naked. However, she's [[spoiler:being humiliated [[ShamefulStrip by being made to stand naked before the SEELE group as they verbally harrass her, and she's utterly depressed]]]]. Also, later in the episode we see [[spoiler:a graveyard of Eva skeletons in the basement, making Rei's hobby of going there naked much worse. We also see soulless and naked dummies of Rei being destroyed by Ritsuko, while they giggle in a creepy manner, and Ritsuko herself is crossing the DespairEventHorizon in front of Misato and Shinji and begging her friend [[PleaseKillMeIfItSatisfiesYou to put her out of her misery]].]]
** A couple of times in End of Evangelion we see Asuka wearing skimpy wear, daisy dukes and a tank top with close-ups on her chest and butt. {{Fanservice}}, right? Not when she's depressed and having a breakdown in the one scene and yelling at Shinji in the other scene while disturbing music plays in the background.

** ''Side Despair'' hits this trope again when there's quite the focus on [[spoiler: [[HotTeacher Chisa Yukizome]] ]]'s breasts and groin [[spoiler: when she's ForcedToWatch as her students perform what's known as [[KillEmAll the first "killing game"]], then is {{mind rape}}d and pretty much lobotomized (with the ''heavy'' implication that one of her torturers is using pressure points and needles to make her ''feel physical pleasure'').]]

** In the anime, we get a scene of the very beautiful, very naked Ai, naked but for a thin blanket hiding her modesty. [[spoiler: She's crying and traumatized after having just been gang-raped, and is wearing the blanket because her clothes were torn off.]]

** [[Squick It's worse than that.]] If you look closely, [[spoiler: you can see lines of semen dripping down her body.]] This has been going on since she was 11.
