A new member of the wiki sits at a junction of three corridors. He is considering three signs: Trope Pages, Forum, and Trope Academy.

As the new guy walks off towards the pages, edit tool in hand, you (RNG 1=5, match number with segment)
- 1. Yell out to him "Remember, Tropes Aren't Bad, Tropes Are Tools!".
- 2. See the tool change into a golden quill for a moment. (Next encounter with an Edit Warrior will add the aditional text before the choices "He looks familiar")
- 3. See him don an old-style pilots helmet. (Next encounter with an Parabomber will add the aditional text before the choices "He looks familiar")
- 4. See him change his mind and walk off in the direction of the Trope Academy.
- 5. See him change his mind and walk off towards the forums.
The new guy walks off to the Forums. You occasionally see him in the trope pages afterwards, checking what tropes to add to his RP.
The new guy walks off towards the Academy, you get the warm feeling from helping this Newbie on the first steps to Troperdom.
