Most of the undead have rather short 'life-spans', because of their rotting frame, they decay quickly and become decomposed. Some zombies, however, are granted immortality. They live on because Death either lost in a duel against them, they escaped his clutches, or they are charismatic enough to strike a deal with him. Since there are only 30 of them out of everyone who has existed, they are named 'Awesome Zombies'.
