The Tales of Legendforge is an upcoming Wizard101 fanfiction by Zealous Thaumaturge. The story follows the life of Joshua Myers, a young orphan boy who recently discovers that he has magical powers. Wrought with dreams of his parents, he seeks to find the answers to his parents's fates while combating against the forces of evil threatening the safety of the Spiral. Despite Joshua Myers being the primary protagonist, the story eventually diverges into focusing on several other Ravenwood students.
Tales of Legendforge contains examples of...
- Ascended Extra: A lot of minor characters that only had a handful of lines, such as Sabrina Greenstar and Regina Flametalon, have expanded roles. This also extends to Ravenwood students who appear as henchmen in the Crown Shop, with Rose Greenthorn being a prime example.
- Some of the early boss characters also receive this treatments, such as Rattlebones, Lady Blackhope, and Lord Nightshade.
- Big Bad: Malistaire, as in the original game. However, this position is usually delegated to his henchmen in earlier sub-arcs, such as Lord Nightshade for Wizard City.
- Morganthe, likewise, serves as this for the second arc.
- Demonic Possession: Penny Dreadful ends up being possessed by Lady Blackhope when she confronts her in her tower. Their relationship later develops into something akin to a Symbiotic Possession.
