Hi Worlder here, and this page is for the Chaotic fanfic "Soldier's Opera".
I started this fanfic almost immediately after a view of a episode Redwall animated series and the recollection of a round of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare from the day before. The result was an anthromorphic mouse fighting in the Overworld army. The reason I picked Overworld was because it was already filled with anthros.
The reason I don't publish it immediately is because this version of Chaotic is still pretty young and the latest crisis in the Chaotic universe is still going on with the final confrontation approaching. Another reason is because I am a perfectionist. I write and re-write the outline for major events, cast, and character development in this fic as well as choose which tropes to use and which not to in order create what I feel is satisfactory.
Believe me, my first fan fic that I kept solely to myself had two Marty Stus, and one Mary Sue. I now see it as shallow as a rain puddle.
My second fan fic that I also kept to myself has too much use of symbolism. I now see that fic as a Mind Screw with too much What Do You Mean, It's Not Symbolic?.
This fic has been thoroughly reviewed again and again to look to avoid any Self-Insert characters, Wangst, What Do You Mean, It's Not Symbolic?, and any other bad or confusing writing.
