Angelus

The largest country in Qarst. Ruled by Anshar dia Angelus, this power is a great military force among the six nations. Despite this power, however, the country is a close ally of all but the Kawanagi Empire to the north. With this, the inland nation enjoys plentiful trading, especially from the Marino Republic and the Baquino Federation.
Rix

A religious state to the east, led by the Rixian Sect. While religion guides the hand of the government in theory, Sophia herself is liberal-minded; indeed, she and Rafael have worked to overturn the more draconian laws instated by prior generations. Like Angelus, Rix shares a deep alliance with most of the other nations.
Baquino

A socialist state run by the Feld family. With a powerful labour force, their trade is the backbone of Qarst's agriculture, farming, and fishing industries. With the illness of Rita, her daughter Janice has taken up the helm as leader of the state in recent years, leading to some tension between the naive Janice and the well-weathered leaders, Edward and Gilberto.
South Baquino
Type of government: Constitutional republicCapital: Ku-Ti CityMajor Figures:

A small island republic in the Great Sea, south of Baquino. Run by the moderates Edward and Altair. The country enjoys prosperity due to large game fishing and the larger salvaging from sunken ships. Ku-Ti City is also a frequent vacation destination due to the beautiful tropical climate.
