Labyrinth of Kalreth is a Dungeon Crawler RPG created by Lily The Litten.

You play as Aeryn, who awakens lost in a mysterious cave with no memory of how they got there. A bit of exploring reveals the truth—they are trapped within the mythical Labyrinth of Kalreth, said to hold a legendary treasure at the bottom.

Lacking much in the way of options, Aeryn descends the Labyrinth's many floors in order to reach the bottom and, hopefully, find a way back home. The further they go, however, the more brutal the Labyrinth gets...and the more secrets end up unearthed.

Maybe some things should just stay buried...

Tropes associated with this game include:

  • The Aloner: Aeryn is the only living person in the game; mentions are made of others, but the situation means we never see them. At first.
  • Ancient Evil: Kalreth turns out to be one; the Labyrinth's true purpose is as its prison.
  • Character Customization: Aeryn's name, gender, and class are all decided by the player.
  • Escape Rope: Annak's Orb allows you to cast Emergency Exit, which warps you back to the floor's safe room.
  • Item Crafting: Because the Labyrinth has nowhere to buy items, Aeryn must craft all their items and equipment themself from monster parts. The only things you don't build yourself are the Rusted equipment, the Orbs, and the Calathea weapons.
  • Infinity +1 Sword: The Regalia weapons are obtained from either a) finding one randomly in the Treasure Trove or b) killing Gilded Princes/Princesses to acquire enough Gilded Shards to craft one. They're also the best weapons in the game, even outclassing the Calathea weapons.
  • Metal Slime: The Gilded Prince and its Distaff Counterpart, the Gilded Princess. High defense, high agility, tend to flee from battle...and also drop a boatload of EXP and Gilded Shards, which are needed to craft the best weapons and armor in the game. They're also very rare despite spawning on every floor, though they are slightly more common in the Palace of Dreams.
  • Noob Cave: The Restless Chasm is the first floor of the Labyrinth.
