Celestial City is a WIP original story by Emi
Celestial City contains the following tropes:
- Aliens of London: A not-insignificant number of Eldritch godbeings have British accents. Whether this is something they naturally have or that they've picked up is unknown. Played for laughs.
- Anachronism Stew: The Celestial City is has a dizzying fusion of aesthetics ranging from Roarin' Twenties to Ancient Greece to more. It makes sense though, considering the City is a melting pot of beings from different worlds, many of whom have travelled across the universe and have brought their aesthetic and cultural influences home with them.
- Broken Pedestal:
- Cast Full of Gay / Everyone Is Bi:
- Ethical Hedonism: A popular philosophy within Celestial City.
- Fantastic Racism: Eldritch godbeings generally look down upon Material godbeings, believing that their possession of mortal blood or background makes them less worthy of their powers.
- Feeling Oppressed by Their Existence: The Eldritch towards Material gods
- Floating Continent: Celestial City itself is just a giant city/state floating in the far reaches of the universe.
- Minor Crime Reveals Major Plot:
- Not Helping Your Case: Played comically during the leadup to Vix's trial, much to their dismay.
