William Sampson Jr. (September 27, 1933 - June 3, 1987) was a Muscogee painter, actor, and rodeo performer best known for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975), The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976), and Poltergeist II: The Other Side (1986).
He had five children.
Sampson died in 1987 at the age of 53 from complications of heart and lung transplant surgery.
