Sarah Miles (born 31 December 1941 in Ingatestone, Essex) is an English actress.
She graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art at the age of 19 despite a background that included dyslexia and a severe stammer. She is best known for Blowup, Ryan's Daughter, and Hope and Glory. She retired from acting in the mid-2000s but has returned for one film since then.
Miles was married twice to playwright and screenwriter Robert Bolt—best known for A Man for All Seasons—and the couple had one child.
