Sanjeev Bhaskar OBE (born October 31, 1963) is a British actor, comedian and television presenter. He rose to fame in the BBC comedies Goodness Gracious Me and the The Kumars at No. 42. He has since furthered his range with the BBC period dramedy The Indian Doctor and the ITV crime drama Unforgotten.
His other credits include Notting Hill, Arthur Christmas, Doctor Who, Paddington 2, Thomas & Friends, Yesterday (2019), Good Omens (2019) and The Sandman (2022).
He is married to Meera Syal, with whom he frequently co-stars.
