Rewind Gone Nuts
is an Australian author of fanfiction, focusing primarily on Ranma ½ alternate universes and crossovers. He first began writing around 2006, producing a series of mostly incomplete serial fanfictions, the most prominent being a crossover fic with Warhammer Fantasy and a series of interconnected romance drabbles that spun off into a full serial fanfic sequel. In late 2011, they vanished from the fanfic writing community, only to return in 2020 and resume writing again, explaining that their absence had been caused by a combination of moving and the unexpected disappearance of their longtime beta-reader and co-writer.
They also maintain a secondary account on Archive Of Our Own as "QuietBrowser", and an account on SpaceBattles as "VoidWanderer".

Character Derailment and refuses to write or promote them. - Ranma getting into relationships with men. This button was notably pushed during the writing of Another Rainy Day in Nerima, one of his more famous fics, resulting in rants and the near-cancellation of the fic.

- In general, expect Akane Tendo to be much less prominent in his works than she is in canon. He has gone on record stating that whilst he dislikes her, it's largely because of her relationship with Ranma, and he does not want to devolve into bashing her. That said, he also struggles to write her in a way that he feels is both fair to her and still in character, so he tends to push her aside in various ways as a consequence.
- To a lesser extent, Ryoga Hibiki. He has noted that he struggles with writing Ryoga, as he finds the character's hypocrisy and wishy-washiness kind of annoying.
- Old Shame: In general, tends to be embarrassed about his earliest works, which is the reason some of them trailed off and were never completed.
- This led to the complete rewrite of his original most popular fanfic, WAAAAGH! Ranma!, but even the rewrite ultimately became dissatisfying to him. He has stated he will probably never return to either version, since he has fallen out of the Warhammer Fantasy fandom as a whole.
- This led to his deleting his first ever Ranma/Shampoo Alternate Universe fanfic, A Different Route Taken, which now survives in only its original "story seed" oneshot format in a collection of other Ranma/Shampoo oneshots and drabbles. He has expressed a desire to revive this story in full, but has found himself distracted. Sadly, the original full story iteration of A Different Route Taken was lost when the original computer containing the files died and the external hard-drive containing the salvaged files was rained on.
- One True Pairing: Inverted. He is adamant that he will never write a Ranma/Akane fanfic (or a Ranma/Guy fanfic). He's otherwise quite open to couples, though he notes Ranma/Shampoo was his first and arguably strongest ship. He's also admitted to an interest in Akane/Mousse (but not Akane/Ryoga) and Kasumi/Ryoga, though he's never written anything on those lines.
- Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Something of a marker for his works, especially the post-return fics, is to take a specific event and tweak it so it goes in a more "realistic" fashion, rather than the usual slapstick comedy slant of canon.
