Irene Ryan (born Irene Noblitt; October 17, 1902 - April 26, 1973) was an American actress and comedian best known for The Beverly Hillbillies (1962-1972), Petticoat Junction (1968), and Will You Stop (1937).
She was married to Tim Ryan and Harold E. Knox.
Ryan died in 1973 at the age of 70 from glioblastoma and heart disease.
