Oh, hai Mark!

Greg Sestero (born July 15, 1978) is an American actor, model and author.

Having been active since the mid-1990s where he began his career as a fashion model for such designers as Armani and Ferre, he soon took an interest in acting and began classes and eventually found himself in minor roles on such productions including Nash Bridges, Days of Our Lives, Patch Adams and Gattaca. He also ended up in the lead role of the 1999 installment of the Puppet Master franchise, Retro Puppet Master, a role he secured by having impressed the casting director and the producers using a convincing French accent.

Although Sestero continued to pursue acting after that, it was not until 2003 that he ended up in the role that he would most be associated with: The Room. Doing the film as a favor to his close friend, he and everyone else except for him believed that the film would be all but forgotten. Little did they know...

A decade after the film came out, Greg co-authored the book, The Disaster Artist, with Tom Bissell about his early life, his relationship with Tommy and the production process of The Room. Four years later, that book would be developed into a hit film starring James Franco as Tommy and Dave Franco as him. The two men's friendship lasts to this day, with them appearing together in the 2018 film Best F(r)iends (2017)note , as well as a cameo in Wiseau's 2023 film Big Shark.

In 2020, he had a cameo as the Groom in The Haunting of Bly Manor. A year later, Sestero made his directorial debut with Miracle Valley.
