Fred Van Lente is a writer of comic books and graphic novels. He lives in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
Van Lente is best known for co-writing The Incredible Hercules alongside Greg Pak. After finishing that run, he went on to write Archer & Armstrong for Valiant Comics, which you might actually call "Hercules and Amadeus Cho from a different universe."
Otherwise, he is known for his book Action Philosophers! and for co-writing a play about Jack Kirby called "King Kirby," which was staged at Brooklyn's Brick Theater.
