Dixie Virginia Carter (May 25, 1939 - April 10, 2010) was an American actress.
She was best known for Designing Women, Family Law.
She was married to Arthur L. Carter, George Hearn, and Hal Holbrook, and had two children.
She died in 2010 at the age of 70 after battling cancer.
Not to be confused with the Professional Wrestling executive of the same name.
