Dino Shafeek, born Gholam D. Shafeek, (21 March 1930 — 10 March 1984), was a Bangladeshi-British actor best known for playing Muhammed in It Ain't Half Hot, Mum and Ali Nadeem in Mind Your Language.

He was born in Dacca (present-day Dhaka) where he took part in amateur theatre. In 1958, he emigrated to England, furthering his acting experience by getting into the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

The '60s saw Shafeek in several Uncredited Roles on TV, and he made his first film appearance in The Long Duel in 1967. His small roles would come to an end in The '70s, when in 1974 he was cast in It Ain't Half Hot, Mum as Muhammed, Char Wallah to the concert party. Shafeek also sang musical interludes between scenes in addition to his role as Muhammed. When Michael Bates (who played Rangi Ram, the bearer) died, Muhammed was given more to do as a result.

Nearing the end of the decade, Shafeek took the opportunity to star another comedy series, Mind Your Language, as Ali Nadeem, one of many Funny Foreigners taking an "English as a second language" class. After this, he made more small appearances on the big and small screens, including roles in Carry On Emmannuelle and Minder.

He died of a heart attack at the age of 53.
