Brigitte Kahn is a German-born British actress best known for playing Dagmar in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.
She moved to the UK sometime before 1978, as that was when she made her first appearance on TV, in an episode of Secret Army. Kahn was often Typecast playing Germans, including her Secret Army role, she also played Germans in Birth of the Beatles, The Professionals, Frohes Fest, and most famously in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.
In the latter series, she played Dennis' German girlfriend Dagmar. While Series 1 ended with Dennis going back to his estranged wife Vera, Kahn and Tim Healy were photographed together between Series 1 and 2, sparking rumours that Dennis and Dagmar would be reunited; sadly, it wasn't to be.
Aside from AWP, Kahn appeared in The Empire Strikes Back, wherein she played one of only four women in the original Star Wars trilogy with a speaking role, and The New Statesman, appearing in a couple of episodes in Series 4 as Frau Kleist. She appeared in small roles for the rest of The '90s, making her final acting appearance in a 1999 episode of Tatort.
