The Chimp With The Brown Hat is a Wild West Comic Book by Nathaniel Gold.
The comic follows the titular chimpanzee when he wakes up in the Old West circa 1880 with a robotic hand and no memory of who he is or where he came from. Now, he wanders the land, traveling from town to town trying to solve those mysteries.
Along with the mystery of how he's connected to the space-worms attacking the surrounding villages.
The comic was funded on Kickstarter on July 17th, 2018. It was released January 15th, 2019.
The Chimp With The Brown Hat contains examples of:
- The Drifter: The titular chimp travels from town to town trying to figure out who he is and how he got stuck in the Wild West.
- Identity Amnesia: The chimp has no idea who he is, or how he got to the Wild West.
- Weird West: Let's see... The protagonist is a monkey with a robotic hand, there's space-worms, yeah, I'd say that it's fit for this trope.
