A 2014 Star Wars Legends limited comic series about the Rebel Alliance in a complex, high-stakes plot to steal a mysterious cargo container. Each issue shows one of the (non-droid) Heroes of Yavin from the perspective of a Rebel or Imperial agent who views them in an initially unflattering light.

Tropes:

  • Fantastic Racism: The ex-stormtrooper who gets paired with Chewbacca for part of the mission hates Wookiees and sees them as no better than animals. He gradually improves after watching Chewbacca’s heroics.
  • Fluffy the Terrible: Chewbacca and his contact have to fight a rancor who turns out to be named Pooches.
  • No Name Given: The ex-stormtrooper narrator of the third issue and his Disposable Pilot (the sister of Sarin, the narrator of the second issue) and the rancor-owning Imperial agent who clashes with Luke and Chewbacca are all unnamed.
  • Play-Along Prisoner: Han is seemingly helpless to do anything after being captured in the first issue. In the fourth issue, he steals the keys to his cell, casually admits he could have done so the whole time, and then does his part of the eponymous Rebel heist.
  • Rebuilt Pedestal: Loyal Rebel soldier Jan becomes extremely disenchanted with the Rebellion after he and Han get paired together on a mission, Han does a lot of reckless stuff, and the two of them get captured as a result. After he learns that it was all a Batman Gambit, he calms down and his last scenes shows him in a bar, praising the superiority of the Rebellion over the Empire.
  • Silly Rabbit, Idealism Is for Kids!: The narrator of the fourth issue, an Imperial-aligned Bothan spy, feels that the ideals of the Rebellion are meaningless next to the power of The Empire. Seeing how much of a difference the Heroes of Yavin and their allies can make changes his attitude.
