Mosely is a five-issue limited series written by Rob Guillory and the artist is Sam Lotfi. It features a man's attempt to take down the mighty idols of technology that had taken over the world.
Mosely is an old man who regretted ever helping out developing the AI. He had lost his family thanks to the AI Overlords. Now, he got a magic hammer and a mysterious glowing man told him to 'Free His People'.
This comic provides examples of:
- Cybernetics Eat Your Soul: The AI Overlords believe that they are helping humans by offering 'upgrades' that enable them to be connected to the Internet all the time and get cybernetic upgrades.
- Deus est Machina: The AI Overlords see themselves as gods and are giant mechanical temples.
- Electronic Telepathy: Ruby had developed an upgrade to the Metaspace that enables her to be aware of everyone connected online at the same time.
- Moses Archetype: Mosely is an older man who was chosen by a mysterious higher power to liberate humanity from the AI overlords. Not only that, but the AI overlords have symbols that are pyramids.
- Sunken City: In the future, before the AI Overlords controlled Climate Change, there were superstorms that sunk many cities. The God of the Ocean lives in one of them.
- 20 Minutes into the Future: The comic takes place thirty years after AI was invented by the military and took over the world.
- Weather-Control Machine: has the AI Gods being able to control the weather to reverse climate change. When lighting struck in the middle of the city, Ruby was confused since she knew that lighting doesn't randomly strike anymore.
