Sunny Bridges is tired of playing music, so he quits his job. What's worse is that Li'l D's music teacher quit his job too to work on a mine. So Li'l D and the students try to get a new teacher by putting together a concert, but it doesn't work out as well as they planned, until Li'l D meets Sunny Bridges himself.

This episode provides examples of:

  • Celebrity Is Overrated: Sunny's celebrity life isn't all it's cracked up to be. He hardly has a say in what he wants to do with his music or career, he has a employment of sycophants, and he doesn't have a moment's peace to himself. During a concert, he looks back on how his musical career is rather unhappy and decides to publicly retire, much to his fans' distraught.
  • The Hero: Li'l D is the one leading the class and trying to get Sunny Bridges to become their music teacher.
  • The Mentor: Sunny Bridge becomes the class's new music teacher.
