He became aware that he was living in a BL world, and decides he wants no part of it.
- The Generic Guy: He's supposedly an unremarkable looking young man, especially when compared to his paired off younger brother. His character concept, meanwhile, portrays him as a perfectly average college kid and a part of the background characters that make up the BL world. Invoked in that he's trying as hard as possible to come off as uninteresting enough to avoid a BL relationship. Not that this stops men from falling for him anyway...
- Meta Guy: He's always making observations and comments about the BL tropes that are currently taking place.
- Oblivious to Love: Ironically for a guy who's so quick on the uptake for cliches, he'll sometimes be completely oblivious when some guys fall in love with him or have been in love with him for a while.
- Precocious Crush: The subject of one by a middle school boy. He hardly could recognize the boy now that He Is All Grown Up; but since this is a BL world, and developments like that are easily the start of an age gap coupling, the Protagonist tells the kid to try confessing again when he enters high school in 3 years.
