Rebels
A group of teenagers who are attempting to survive the Jellax Invasion, they come across Crescent and decide to protect her at all costs.
Sam: The de facto leader of the group, he is the first one to escape the Jellax and meet with Crescent after she comes to the his world.
- Nice Guy: Despite some initial hostilities, he warms up to Crescent and is even willing to give her a chance once she shows she can talk with him.

- Love Interest: She becomes Sam's, and vice versa as the story progresses.
- Will They or Won't They?: One of the things the ending of Act 3 leaves open is whether the two will be together at the end. They do.
Jellax
The main antagonists, the Jellax are a race of slime people who wish to turn all others into their own kind. Despite their reach and power, they have trouble against Crescent and the Rebels.
