* UnskilledButStrong: Zero finesse, but devastating power. A near-miss is still damaging, a direct hit is crippling, and a penetrating hit is usually game-ending for whatever poor sod is on the receiving end. It is one of a small number of tanks able to fight well above its tier rating out of sheer overwhelming firepower (yes, you can take this thing into a tier 9 or 10 match and still be useful).

Added DiffLines:

* LethalJokeCharacter: The T-28 was this in the first few years of the game. Despite being the size of a house and having all the armor of a soda can, a player with a bit of skill and the 85 or 57 gun could wreak havoc on the opposing team even if they were in a match with Tier 6 tanks.

* RareVehicles: Not very commonly played due to being in an awkward position on the Soviet tech tree.

* RareVehicles: This is the rarest tank in the game, having been given to only a handful of beta testers (a little over a hundred).

* RareVehicles: A [[DownplayedTrope downplayed version]] in real life; only 250 of these tanks were built due to it's disappointing mobility, and they were stationed in the Far East front until 1949, when they were removed from service.

* RareVehicles: It didn't even get to mass production, unlike the IS-4.

* RareVehicles: An in-universe case, since it is one of the rarest Tier IX vehicles in the game despite being a very powerful tank destroyer. This is mostly due to the unpopularity of the second soviet TD line, and not a reflection of the TD itself.

* RareVehicles: Only sold as a preorder package.

Spiritual Successor is a YMMV trope about a work generally being seen as resembling another work.

* SpiritualSuccessor: To the original GameBreaker KV-1S with the 122mm and IS turret. It is still just as terrifying to tier 5 tanks, who rarely expect a Soviet tier 7 heavy to be ''mobile''.
