- Back from the Dead: The last of the Lost Files ends with the appearance of a stranger who speaks in a very familiar typeface.
- Berserk Button: Mr.Burns bringing up his son, causing him to bring up threaten Mr.Burns if he did so again
- Covert Group: Claims to be under the employment of one. There isn't one
- Cultured Badass: He regularly makes references to works of literature and early on states his degree in English Literature
- From Nobody to Nightmare: The interviewer was just an English literature professor, he only got his reputation after being responsible for the assassination of a prominent figure(and that was accomplished thanks to help from the CIA Director
- No Name Given: He is never identified by his name, even in death
- Outliving One's Offspring: His son was a drug addict who ended up dead in a car crash
- Screw the Rules, I Have Connections!: Typical Modus Operandi.
"But we can remedy the situation with one phone call"
— his response to the Doctor assigned with Vincent's prosthetics
- The Stoic: He keeps a calm demeanor for most of his meetings, except for Mr.Burns, partly due to Burns somehow having access to his contact info and bringing up his dead son
- The Dragon:He was originally this to the Senator who helped him get revenge, until he died of bone cancer, leaving the interviewer on his own
Vincent
- Body Horror: Ends up getting his legs crushed by Ryan, resulting in him needing prosthetics.
- Super-Intelligence: He is shown to be thisThe Interviewer: "I was told you were brilliant, once in a generation brilliant"
Rose
- The Chosen One: The fact that she's purely human means she can help prove that humanity is capable on its own, hence why Mr.Burns arranged to bring her back to life
