A group of corrupt cops operating in Las Vegas. Their ultimate goal is to control and profit off of the town's criminals.
In General
- Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: The Authority's members hurt each other more than anyone else. Seth shoots Murphy in the knee for not cooperating, while Hunter tries to kill The Architect and later murders Randy.
- Dirty Cop: Their main gimmick and purpose.
- Jerkass: Hunter, Jacob Kane, and Murphy qualify as such. Seth portrays himself as one to stay on Hunter's good side.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: A favorite tactic of theirs. Attempts are made on Seth and Randy's lives after they turn. Seth barely survives his, while Randy is outright killed.
