Albus Dumbledore

The Chessmaster: He's currently managing the war effort against the Death Eaters, and is such a good manipulator he made Sirius accept to play the liaison with his estranged family.
The Gadfly: Dumbledore has the maddening tendency to gently tease the people he talks to, and gets amusement from the rise he gets out of them.
So Proud of You: Expresses his admiration for Regulus when he understands the youth outright rebelled against Voldemort and managed to steal his Horcrux.

Remus Lupin

Mellow Fellow: Remus is mild-mannered, polite and friendly, but also rational and composed. Even when he gets angry, he's more likely to be passive-aggressive rather than explode in righteous anger like Sirius, James and Lily.
The Reliable One: Since Sirius has a bit of a falling out with James, Remus takes his place as Sirius's most trusted friend and confidant. Also, given his lack of work and family entanglements, Remus finds himself getting called to watch the flat more often than the others, and he's met more of Sirius's family (including Lucretia and Andromeda) than his other friends have. While he's around, Remus rarely fails to give a sound yet gentle advice for Sirius about how he needs to deal with his family.

James Potter

Green-Eyed Monster: He confesses to Lily that he fears a reconciliation between Sirius and his parents because Sirius would have less time for their friendship if that happens.
Heterosexual Life-Partners: He and Sirius are said to be "practically joined at the hips" due to their close friendship, and Remus describes Sirius as James's "other other half" besides Lily. However, due to him and Sirius having a row over Sirius's family, the two aren't together as often as they normally would.
Secretly Selfish: He confronts Orion about the latter's apparent blackmailing of Sirius, and declares his noble intent of freeing his friend from their clutches. But as pointed out in Green-Eyed Monster, James is partly motivated by his own jealousy and fear of losing Sirius's company as his best friend spends more time with the Blacks.

Lily Evans Potter

Fiery Redhead: Surprisingly averted. She's very well-tempered every time she appeared.
Mistaken for Romance: Walburga first believed Sirius was dating her when she met the younger witch in her son's flat. Sirius immediately corrects the mistake.
Morning Sickness: She complains about "worshiping the porcelain god", which mortifies her husband and male friends.
Nice Gal: She can feel pity towards Walburga Black. Now that's another one.
Silk Hiding Steel: She's extremely polite towards Walburga as she knows it will force the pureblood lady to reconsider her opinion of Muggleborns.

Peter Pettigrew

Locked Out of the Loop: The only Marauder to be unaware of what's currently cooking in the Black family.
The Mole: For Voldemort.
Spotting the Thread: He noticed Sirius became unusually protective of his flat.
