* DidntThinkThisThrough: Pryce blowing up the fuel depot to kill Kanan Jarrus. While he was a high-value target on the grounds of being a Jedi and his death was a hefty blow to the morale of his comrades, this did the Empire ''far'' more harm than good. The Rebels wouldn't have been able to destroy the depot themselves, meaning Pryce essentially did their job ''for'' them, and without fuel to run the TIE Defenders, they've lost their edge against Rebel Starfighters. This blunder winds up tipping the Emperor' s favor toward the Death Star project, rendering her and Thrawn's efforts for naught. Thrawn practically reads her the riot act for her colossal lack of foresight.

Added DiffLines:

* BigBadWannabe: Pryce is a cold, no-nonsense, ruthless piece of work, but isn't as capable as she believes herself to be. She's first and foremost a politician so her forays into military affairs tend to be catastrophic as she suffers the same arrogance that plagues most Imperial leadership. Once Ezra deduces her as the weak link in Thrawn's inner circle, he plays her for a chump by luring her into a trap to capture her and gain access to the Imperial headquarters.

* ArchEnemy: For Ryder Azadi, as she ousted him as governor and the emnity between them is ''very'' personal.
* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: She gives Sabine a pretty good fight in [[Recap/StarWarsRebelsS3E02TheAntillesExtraction "The Antilles Extraction"]], though Sabine still wins [[ProudWarriorRaceGuy for obvious reasons]]. ''[[Literature/StarWarsThrawn Thrawn]]'' reveals she took self defense classes, which evolved into a martial arts hobby.

* HeroKiller: Deconstructed: She performs an action that kills a hero ([[spoiler:namely, Kanan Jarrus gets blown up in a HeroicSacrifice]]) but she never gets to obtain the rep [[spoiler:because Thrawn is instead ''pissed'' [[StupidEvil at how colossally stupid her act was]], explains exactly [[NiceJobFixingItVillain how much damage she did to the efforts of the Empire]] to keep control over the sector, [[ForWantOfaNail let alone win the war]], [[PyrrhicVictory in exchange for killing a single man]] (and the fact that the man was a Jedi is something Thrawn [[PragmaticVillainy cares absolutely jack about]]) and tells her that he'll make sure she suffers for her incompetence.]]

* WrongGenreSavvy: Pryce is a politician first and a military leader second, consequently, her actual military command record leaves [[StupidEvil quite a lot to be desired.]] Her impulsive decision-making and need to assert her power and dominance frequently leads to her making massive strategic blunders like [[spoiler: inadvertantly letting [[TheMole Kallus]] escape to join the rebellion]] and [[spoiler: blowing up the entire Lothal fuel depot [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill just to kill Phoenix Squadron]] with Kanan as the only casualty.]] Furthermore, in the latter case, when your superior officer is someone as smart as ''[[TheChessmaster Thrawn]]'', you will not be able to escape repercussions for your actions by ''[[spoiler:throwing a parade]]'' to distract from and cover up what you did wrong.

* YouHaveFailedMe: Thrawn is normally a relative BenevolentBoss and remarkably tolerant of failure for an Imperial commander, so to end up on the receiving end of this from him you have to fuck up ''bad''. [[spoiler:Strategically crippling the TIE Defender project and quite possibly single-handedly costing the Empire the Galactic Civil War in order to kill one man will do it, and Thrawn promises she will be ''dealt with'' for her stupidity. It is technically subverted in that the Rebels get to her before he does.]]

* OffModel: It's hard to spot because it's from a distance, but in his very first appearance in [[Recap/StarWarsRebelsSparkOfRebellion "Spark of Rebellion"]] (when Ezra watches Aresko and Grint get mad at Lyste for supposedly reporting a false emergency), his hair is white-blond. When he's seen again a few minutes later in the same episode, his hair is its usual black.
