- Absurdly Sharp Claws: His claws can leave large, noticeable marks and cracks in the ground when he walks.
- Exotic Eye Designs: The diamond insignia on his visor acts similar to an eye, despite lacking an eyelid.
- Fangs Are Evil: He has fairly sharp teeth, and actively tormented Yellow Diamond in her dreams when she slept.
- Messy Hair: His bangs fall over his visor more than Hema's, and though their hairstyles are similar, Hemanite's stray hairs puff out in separate clumps on the top of his head.
