    Protagonists

Naoto Kirihara

  • You Killed My Father: Is accused of killing the Kuroki brothers' parents by Takuya during their battle in "Thought, confrontation -Showdown-" by showing up and doing so when he and Yuya were children. The finale shows that this isn't the case, revealing that he was actually protecting them from the SWE when they attacked their house.

Naoya Kirihara

    Special Weapons Enforcement

Takuya Kuroki

  • Hypocrite: When Naoto fights Takuya in "Thought, confrontation -Showdown-", he calls the latter out on working with the government and being just as bad as the rest of them despite them both having the same psychic abilities. Which Takuya responds to by dodging the accusations and instead tries to kill Naoto for personal reasons supposedly involving the Kiriharas and the parents of the Kuroki brothers that Naoto repeatedly denies. He grows out of this.

Yuya Kuroki

  • Pacifist: Manages to convince his brother to simply sever the link between the Kurokis and Kiriharas in "Space-time fusion -Unity-", though it ends up being All for Nothing as their actions still cause the destruction of Earth.

Reika Muto

Kimie Kobayashi

  • Shapeshifter:Briefly assumes the role of Okuhara to tell him that the tear simply won't stop if he kills his opposition, then shoots him in the gut as revenge for shoving her aside earlier on.
  • Your Mind Makes It Real: Her ability, which makes her both the most powerful and most feared of the team, even among their own ranks.
  • You Are in Command Now: Assumes command of the SWE at the end of the series after the death of Daisuke at her hands.

Michio Sonezaki

Suguru Kakitani

Daisuke Honda

  • Big Bad: Becomes the final threat to both Naoto and Takuya in "Space-time fusion -Unity-". Though is quickly dispatched by Kimie in the finale.
  • Choke Holds: Gives one to Kimie when they witness the singularity point of the World's destruction unfold in the penultimate episode before throwing her aside. This is the final straw for her, as she shoots him in the gut just as he's about to kill both Naoto and Takuya.
  • Third Act Stupidity: Between not executing Kimie when he shoved her aside, to thinking killing the remaining brothers would stop the end of the world despite being warned that it'll still happen regardless, his eventual death is pretty much a given.
  • Would Hurt a Child: He leads the SWE and the Russian Air Force to bomb the psychic facility just to kill the Kiriharas. This terrifies Yuya that he tries to aim his sidearm at him in "Protection and Salvation -Our Destiny-". He also has zero qualms about locking up kids in prison, having children mutilated by actual criminals for singing, or going after Masayuki.]]

He later takes out Michio and Reika by disolving them when the latter two try to kill Naoto in the Psychic realm.
