- Characterization Marches On: Hard to notice, but after short 1, Kyzer is a lot more adventurous and reckless; often ignoring a huge amount of red flags about the things he's doing. He's also a bit more leader-like later on.
- Heroic Wannabe: His big dream is to be a legendary hero like Punchtice, but he is too young and unskilled to be one right now.
- Free-Range Children: It's a wonder how his parents aren't worried about the adventures he and his friends go on.
- The Leader: Master Ky is the Levelheaded kind; often commanding the other heroes to do things by experience and expertise; along with an intelligent mind. Kyzer himself is a Headstrong leader when the time calls for it and/or they're in danger. This is, however, also how they get in danger.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Kyzer is very adventurous and a bit of a thrill-seeker, making him the Red Oni to Vee's more careful Blue Oni. Likewise, his love for adventure and recklessness is often what leads him and his friends into danger.
