* BigGood: Lillet ''thinks'' he's this at first, but he ultimately proves to not be much help at all. His attempts to expedite Gamel's destruction after hearing Lillet's warning just makes things worse and enables the devil's escape.

* DidYouJustScamCthulhu: [[spoiler: In the final loop, successfully scams Grimmlet, a demon, when she offers to enter a DealWithTheDevil. Grimmlet would get her soul in exchange for something on his end, which Lillet requests to be that he embrace God, something that as a demon, she knows he can't do. Since neither a human or a demon can back out of a contract once its set up, Grimmlet is DraggedOffToHell for breaking it.]]
* EverybodysDeadDave: Runs into this at the end of the first loop. All the teachers, aside from Advocat died stopping Grimmlet, Amoretta being sacrificed in the process, and Margarita was killed by Calvaros.
** Her attempt to prevent everyone dying stopping Grimmlet on the second loop fails as well, instead they still die, this time with Grimmlet killing everyone and taking complete control over Gammel's body.

* TookALevelInBadass: Starts off as a NaiveEveryGirl who develops into a GuileHero over the course of the loops. [[spoiler: Most notably she goes from quivering in Grimmlet's presence to conning him into a {{Wishplosion}}.]]

* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler: In the 3rd and 4th loops, gives her live to defeat Grimmlet.]]

* AllPowerfulBystander: Doesn't take Calvaros for threat implying he could stop him easily. Grimmlet even treats Advocat as a possible threat, but with both villains Advocat doesn't get involved directly.

* BrilliantButLazy: Dialogue by himself and Grimmlet imply he's far more powerful than he lets on, with the former actually treating him as a potential threat. Nonetheless he's not interested in getting his hands dirty.

* {{Hypocrite}}: When he and Grimmlet meet face to face, Advocat convinces him to not start a fight by saying "When devils fight each other, only the priests win." [[spoiler: In the final loop, when Grimmlet has been conned by Lillet, Advocat shows up and laughs his ass off. Grimmlet asks if he was behind it, and Advocat admits it wasn't but he wishes it was. He doesn't start a fight with another demon, but he does still imply he would gladly arrange for something like Lillet scamming one [[ItAmusedMe for his own amusement]].]]
* IWasJustPassingThrough: [[spoiler:On one iteration, he saves everyone by asking Grimlit to kill you last, using the argument that he wants your soul, and knowing that if you survive to the fifth day you'll be able to rewind time and fix things. He justifies this by saying that he can't get everyone's soul if Grimlet kills them first, but it's implied he does care about Gammel Dore and the students to an extent.]]

* NotMeThisTime: When he shows up to rub salt in the wound after [[spoiler:Lillet cons Grimmlet, Grimmlet asks if Advocat was behind it. Advocat having so much fun watching, Grimmlet's accusation, not to mention Advocat himself admitting he wished he was behind, implies he has been known to pull such tricks in the past.]]

* BigBadEnsemble: With Grimmlet. Both of them are out to TakeOverTheWorld, and Lillet's problem is finding a way to stop one without leaving the other free.

* SorcerousOverlord: He is an evil sorcerer out for world domination, and aims to use Grimmlet's minions to help with it.

* BigBadEnsemble: With Calvaros. [[EvilerThanThou Grimmlet is the more powerful of the two]], and unfortunately releasing him is the only way to ensure Calvaros doesn't run free.

** [[spoiler: Lillet cuts one with him, that turns out to be a {{Wishplosion}} since her deal was for Grimmlet to embrace God, something that as a demon, he can't do. As a result he is DraggedOffToHell for breaking the contract.]]
* DraggedOffToHell: [[spoiler: His fate in the final loop. Lillet offers her soul to him, and to Grimmlet's shock she asks for him to embrace God. As a demon, he can't and is sent back to Hell for breaking the contract.]]

* {{Wishplosion}}: [[spoiler: Is subjected to one by Lillet. She offers him her soul, in exchange for him embracing God. Grimmlet can't do that, and he can't back out of the contract, so he's DraggedOffToHell.]]
